The only thing i would suggest is that downing and sturridge may swap roles. not sure. I feel that much depends on utd's formation for this one. if they put 5 in midfield they could dominate possession by squeezing our space... our cbs can have it but out full backs ahve young and valencia pushing them constantly and they mark our midfielders who drop off for a pass... in that case i think we do need some outlet to hold it up and sturrudge could be that.... cos all downing will do is back pass. who knows?
With WR allegedly injured, can see them playin Kagawa as a 10, with TC and MC behind, we should match up evenly in that area with JH,SG,LL
kagawa is a lihtweight diver.... cleverly and carrick are not scary but they can be tasked with compressing the passing space for midfielders. that third midfielder will be interesting. henderson's work ethic could be vital.... one things for sure its not a day for headless chickens and hendo doesn't dive in does he? If utd play 4-4-2 with hernandez up top with rvp i think we have a chance. last time out i thought mcclean and johnson would push our full backs into more defensive roles but they dominated. valencia and yuong should expect far more of the ball at old trafford i suppose so that could be a key area... i'd LOVE to see wisdom pinning young and evra back all on his own lol.. Evra is a weak link on that side, he gets caught out quite often, he's a serial ball watcher these days and better going forward currently, we should be looking to exploit that
yes I agree he is everything johnson is accused of. he goes forward constantly and that offers the overlap and extra body but to combat that you need soemone out there to give him something to worry about. downing is no that but defensively he can track him better than say sterling. I think sturridge could be in there o nthe right but who knows. suarez might try to isolate that channel and etiehr evans or vidic as LCB would be grist to his mill... expect evra to go down clutching his face i nthe first 5mins and webb to send suarez off... then after tv replays show no contact suarez will be called a cheta by all and sundry depsie the fact the frenchman pulls off another cheat.
