Does Burnsy's prematch interview with SB and a player get played any time before Saturday? TigersPlayer seems to get updated more slowly every week.
Steve Bruce normally gets part of his interview played on a thursday night on sportstalk. The rest is snip-its and played in full on a saturday.
If you want to know what was said, we have no injury worries, everyone trained today except Fryatt and Dudgeon. There's no transfer news and probably won't be for a couple of weeks, but Brucey isn't concerned. Bruce has apologised to Stewart for his after match comments last week and says Cam has been 'a beast' in training this week.
(a) Great news that. (b) No rush needed. We have more than enough in the squad to handle the Wendies and Posh. (c) Stewart deserved his bashing but good that its all done with. Even better that Stewart has done something about it. Long may that continue.
I'm really impressed with Steve Bruce - I think he was dead right to give Cameron Stewart a rocket but it's also good to see that he's not too proud to apologise if he thinks that he's overstepped the mark - good man management.
I've read what Phil B has put on twitter but was wondering when the audio would be released. I dont know why I pay for TigerPlayer, it is so slow to be updated with content. When was the last player interview bar the pre-match one??
The prematch interviews are normally on tigers player the day before the game. I watch them every week.
Brucey also said that we'd opened talks with a couple of players whose contracts run out at the end of this season.
I would like to think that one of them is Liam Rosenoir. Bruce also said that James Chester is going nowhere. So everyone can put that worry to bed. With Chester under contract to 2014 anyway I bet he just wants to see what league Hull City are in before signing a new deal. Dont blame him.
Did he specifically say our out of contract players, or could it be players playing abroad that we want to sign? Or I suppose PL fringe players who are out of contract in the summer, would be sold if a replacement could be found, but their club isn't expecting them to find a replacement this window. They could be given permission to speak to us to get their long term future sorted so that they can play the next 6 months without having to worry about their future. (not just, but eg Fraizer if he was all set to move and then the Danny Graham transfer collapsed)
I can't remember the exact wording that Burnsy used, but I'm sure he was talking about our players whose contracts expire at the end of this season.
