Don't get me wrong, Michu still has to suffer second season syndrome but he's still on fire right now.
Michu is the signing of the season, no comparisons needed he stands up by himself. The fact that he is so calm in front of goal, good in the air, pretty quick, clever and scores all sorts of goals tells me that he will not have this 2nd season syndrome he is too good for that. I would love us to buy him, he may cost 30 million so will the owners stump up the cash?

Michu is the signing of the season, no doubt. However, he was unproven in the PL & largely unheard of hence his price. Ferguson bought RvP knowing if he stayed fit, he was going to deliver goals & lots of them. Buying proven quality always costs, as the club who buys Michu in the summer will attest to.

It's strange as he was highly regarded when he was at Ath Madrid without ever being prolific. Joined LFC and found a team and a manager which suited his style. Thankfully, we saw the best out of him before his decline
