I know I shouldn't do it but I've been reading the Red Tops, interweb "gossip" columns and even the Islington Gazette........ So - with all the players we are apparently linked with for a summer move to the Mighty Arse what do any of you know about: 1. Malaga striker Rondon. 2. Borussia midfielder Goetz. 3. Stuttgart bloke Tasci. 4. A bloke who plays in goal for Anderlecht whose name I've forgotton. There's more of them. I need some intelligent help here because we obvioulsy need to buy in the summer and buy experience not some snotty 16-year-old who might be good in four years but there again might stuff loads of the Devil's dandruff up his hooter and not be any good in four months time. AND.....anyone know why the Islington Gazette is reporting that the match against Aston Villa will be Cescs LAST for the Arse. What do they know that we don't? Depending what you read about the bloke he is an absolute goal-scoring machine. But then again he plays in Ligue 1 - which ain't the Premiership. And if he's worth more than ã13 million, I'm Jack Warner.... Just send money to the following account..... Seriously, M. Wenger has got to buy big name experience and I'm not sure big name experience comes from Ligue 1. Errr... M. Chamakh? Don't think so.
Diarra, Gourcuff, Lloris are the only people from Ligue 1 that I know of who count as big name experience. As for the people you mentioned the only one I know is Goetze. He is 19, small, reasonably quick, great technical ability, good eye for a pass etc, sound familiar? A typical Wenger signing I guess.
