Think its VERY unlikely but Im gonna do is mention a few things, I think Spurs is MOST likely.AND I am slghtly worried for any club which signs a guy who has not played for 6 months, and has had niggling injuries for the last 2 yrs. When fit though, he is quality. Also I would say whoever does sign him should offer SMALL contract, 3yrs, so if go wrong, easier to free from wages Sneijder maybe set to move to Galatasaray. €4.5m annual wage, or €150,000 p/w. Plus a €25,000 bonus for every game completed (125k a week ) Inter have accepted bid from galatasaray for sneijder but player awaiting offer from a PL club, he KNOWS/IS CERTAIN ( there may be interest from a PL club...... in a few days, why in a few days not now , perhaps PL club waiting for someone to be offloaded.............NS) Half of Cole's wages gone (50k) plus probably Sahin's (approx 70k), thats 120k, Sneijder is 28, just sayin' Apparently Sneijder wont make final decision on Gala until Monday
Just read some tweets from Jonthan Northcroft (The Times) about Sneijder: Bad recent injury record £165k p/week (net) Big ego 29 in June In addition, he once embarrassed a No3 Dutch keeper in front of the squad by pointing out the guy's annual wage is what he earned in 2 weeks.
this guy is the only true world calss player in midfield that is not playing for barca or real and not >30... period. he's never been a nice guy.. thats nothing new. he is well outside of lfc AND spurs wage structure... VDV moved cos he was not on anything like that money. finally... man city NEED him to ge tback inthe league... he would fit in perfectly they and the wages are not in issue.... played under mankini too so that might put him off
Wages are an issue at City, they're ****ting themselves about FFP & there's no way they could take him on unless they shed a couple from their bloated wage bill. I also don't think they'd want yet another massive ego in their dressing room at present. United would be the obvious choice, as they're short in that area, have been linked with him in the past & Ferguson could manage him I'm sure. Spurs & your lot? I just can't see it tbh, for different reasons, he doesn't fit your wage structure & I doubt Brenda would want his ego either & I just can't see him at Spurs. Could be wrong like. Whoever gets him, I'll be amazed if the deal with Gala completes, they're just a stalking horse here imo.
rumours are rvp hates him and ferguson knows rvp is vital to winning the league. utd may not want him anymore city have load sof cash and like chelsea know bloody well nothing matters but winning. uefa and the prem are not going to fire them out for ffp. RA is totally ignoring it and will continue to do so at chelsea and frnakly city have a very avergae team in some places. midifeld especially. we won't even pay 70k it seems and this si why i already said he was out of our strucutre... my point is SPURS won't pay more than 90k so he is well outside thier reach too. Spurs don't have the revenue to bust thier strucutre open. thats why modric and vdv left and why bale will elave too.
Liverpool table a bid of £12.2m for Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow according to Turkish newspaper Fanatik Gazetesi. The former Lille forward has scored 18 goals in 41 games in Turkey. French football writer Matt Spiro on Twitter: "Toulouse confirm Moussa Sissoko can leave for â¬3.5m (contract up in summer). Hasn't lived up to 'new Essien' tag, but that's a real bargain." Havent we been linked with Sissoko before for a couple of million might be worth a punt.
I'd be over to moon if we got these two. I think it would make our squad very strong too but obviously not going to happen
Crikey!! Suarez, Sturridge, Sow & Borini as strike options would be fantastic and his name begins with S
you can't talk, you've taken a right pasting in the last month! You was only on about eleven when you went on the Rep thread to take the piss, you're on 372 now...
18 goals in 41 games doesn't sound great, especially given that it's in the Turkish League. €3.5m for Moussa Sissoko would be an absolute bargain!
Saw the Sow thing but we couold have got him last January for 8 mil when he was bossing the french league, didn't move quick enough on that one for me. The Moussa Sissoko for 3.5 is a must have I feel. Even if it is not a priority position, that is steel we are really missing int he middle.
Interesting comments from the Echo webchat: Coates is highly regarded around Anfield and they recognise that he needs to be playing regular football. Will need to go out on loan. Liverpool are holding firm on Ince as no one else is interested. Re. stadium - the acquisition of the properties remains on track, planning application will be put in in around 3 to 4 months.
That is how many coaches now that have deemed him not good enough? Wonder what it is, must be the work ethic and attitude, has to be.
