Jimmy talking B*ll*cks again He wants us to pay him to play for ipswich again, If you want to play for ipswich so badly, tear your f'ing contact up, you complete and utter waster. Just proves he does not want to play for Hull City http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=18415
He's made it fairly obvious he wants to stay at Ipswich, he could sign tomorrow if he agreed a big enough pay cut, balls in your court Jimmy.
No mate, it's not Jimmy that does not want to play for us it is Hull City that do not want Jimmy to play for them. Slight difference. Jimmy has a contract worth 4 and a half million quid and he can just sit on his arse if he wants to and still get paid. Yes it is a bloody millstone round our neck but it's not Jimmy's fault. He wants to continue playing for Ipswich rather than not play at all but he's not going to give up his contract to do so. I don't like it any more than you do mate but Jimmy is entitled to have his contract fulfilled.
Bullard taking over all the threads again, was just on the Rosy one, please Allems, pay him off or get rid, he won't go of his own accord!
Better deal? If I was NP and saw the opportunity to get rid of him on a free I'd bite their hand off. For me the wage cut alone counts as a transfer fee, considering it would save us ã2,340,000 per year, plus more for possible bonuses such as goals, appearances, a small yearly wage rise etc.
It's both. He wants to stay at Ipswich and we don't want him back. We'll get rid of him to anyone who'll take him, but if he wants to go to Ipswich, then it's down to him to make a contribution towards making that happen. Until he is willing to do so, he should shut up about wage reductions, as he's not really willing to accept a wage reduction of any significance. He's a thick twat who thinks it's clever to tell the Ipswich fans whatever he thinks they want to hear. It's disrespectful to his parent club to put out misleading stories about what he's prepared to do. He's not responsible for the deal he's on, but he's responsible for his own actions and he's a twat.
If he wanted to play for us why not take the pay cut he's prepared to take @ Ipswich. he keeps saying money's no interest to him he just want's to play football, it's bullsh*t, he wanted to play for his m8 Phil Brown because he could go on the lash, the same with Jewell. His best M8 at the club has also gone and he does not want to be here . When he came back this season he never acknowledged the fans support once, he was simply going through the motions and his display and effort v wigan was the one of the worst i have witnessed by a city Player. HE DOES NOT WANT TO PLAY FOR HULL City Message for Jimmy, i repeat if you want to play for ipswich so badly, rip your contract if it's not about money, because your killing My Club.
...and Jimmy is on 45,000 quid per week - how much are you on? He might be a twat in your eyes but I am personally on 179 quid per week so that makes Jimmy far from a twat in my eyes as he is earning over 250 times what I get. Would you leave your current occupation to go somewhere where you would be happier at half the wage. If you would, then I will get my Didgeridoo out and watch out for me at the Taxi Ramp at Paragon Station. It's a no brainer but like others I would love for Jimmy to do it but can't see it.
However much people want to pretend, the fact is AP has left is in a lose-lose situation with his PR stunt gone wrong in the summer. I think if anyone was treat by their employer the way JB has been by Hull City they'd want out, I certainly don't blame him for that, but at the same time I think if this club is serious about progressing we need to get him playing for us again. A simple apology from AP is all that is needed. It's a huge **** up from him and all the sheep on here that insist on their small club mentality that stops this club from progressing. As was mentioned by somebody else, look at Utaka at Pompey, ã80k a week, not a hate figure though. Why? Because people there aren't ****ing stupid enough to think that he deciced to give himself the deal, they appreciated him for his footballing talents. Unfortunately some of our fans still haven't grasped the concept that footballers get paid more than them and as such this club is going to pay the price for that by never progressing.
Why does everything have to be AP's fault? You still offer no explanation for this. He saved us from the brink of liquidation twice, he's one of the most honest and trustworthy men in football, he's basically a club legend. Even if this Bullard saga was his fault, the positive things he has done for the club would still vastly outweight the negatives.
If he hadn't have come back I'd have held him in the same regard as you. But like he said when he sold us, he'd took this club as far as he could, we saw at Derby that he was out of his depth in the PL, he had a similar situation with Savage at Derby as he is doing here with Bullard. Maybe he just doesn't like long haired CMs, who knows, but either way it shows his complete inability to deal with big personalities. His sacking of Brown and hiring Dowie was the single most ****ing stupid thing I have ever seen a chairman do, he turned what as one point everybody's second team into a complete laughing stock, then to top it off he doesn't take any of the blame himself and sticks around. I'd have resigned out of pure shame. The saving us from liquidation twice thing is a myth too, the first time yes, and as I've said a thousant times I sincerely thank him for that. But the second time, it was only Bartlett's stubbornness that kept us out of administration, then Pearson was so scared of having his name connected to the club going out of business that he disappeared from the board, only to suddenly reappear when the Allam's actually saved the club. The man's a complete egotist who knows he can get away with mistake after mistake because of what he did the first time around. If it was a new chairman who came in after Duffen he'd have been quite rightly hounded out by now.
You fkn smug arrogant b*****d. Now you are calling the fans fkn stupid!! We've grasped the concept of footballers getting paid more then us all right - that is due to your alto-ego Duffen. If I were in the Allams financial league, then I would recall the t**t here. Let the fkr sit on his harce all day long and let him rot. He is a t**t of the highest order, as are you. But I'm not going to rise to your whiteshyte bait anymore, just notice the large clump of mistletoe hanging from my shirt tail as I leave.
If you stopped your constant vitriol against other fans of our club, you might get a fair hearing. People here are not "****ing stupid", most realise that he, as his own agent, negotiated, with the then Director, his wage and terms package. They also recognise his previous abilities, both with our club (at the start), and previous clubs (he was not on the England teams radar because he was crap!). I think you don't have to have a maths Degree to grasp the concept that footballers get paid more than the ordinary "Joe", but what these "****ing stupid" fans do expect, is a bit of loyalty from a player who's club has stood by him whilst he has picked up a fair amount of money during his long periods of injury. And when finally returning to play first team football putting in a bit more effort than he was seen to do.
Stood by him? The club froze him out completely. He's been treat like **** by the club, I can't think of any reason why he'd want to stay. As I've said, AP needs to grow a pair and apologise.
The club froze him out completely????? If that was the case would he have been awarded player of the month??? The club couldn't afford to play him after a couple of outings after his second knee injury, that is not freezing him out that is trying to keep the club solvent!! Who was it, when his club and Celtic had agreed a deal to pay him his full wages, so he could go and ply his trade, wanted a reported ã20k on top?
Clearly he didn't want to live in Scotland. His loan move to Ipswich dispels any theory that he didn't want to play football. The club wouldn't even let him train with the first team in the summer, it was a complete joke. It's, quite frankly, indefensible the way they treat him and now they are paying the price for it. If they'd have let him play we'd have been in the play-offs at least, of that I'm sure.
In agreement with TWF on this one, although not on the AP front. Poorly done by both Pearson's really. He was being forced out and didn't want to go to the SPL. Let's face it, it's a **** league. He may have temporarily considered it as he was being forced out but decided to hang on as to stay in England. His contract has been rather done to death now.. it's been said 1000 times before, any of us would have signed that contract had it been put in front of us. He just wants to play football, and he's by far the best midfielder in the league. It's just a shame with his injury record that he's now being forced to pull out of tackles and barely compete for headers. If it wasn't for injuries he'd have been worth far more than ã5m.
