Was watching a few on youtube and came across the year when Sunderland got to the FA cup final, 1992 Against Liverpool he enjoyed his time there you can tell and is known to be a bit of a legend there also but do you think he was more fond of his time at Boothferry Park?, he surely was wasn't he?? He never played at wembley with City that's all, with us though he savoured administration in the early 80's, my all time favourite player.

Another for you is if you had to pick then which 1 Hull City game was your...

    Match of the 60's.
    Match of the 70's.
    Match of the 80's.
    Match of the 90's.
    Match of the 00's.

Match of the 00s: the playoff final for sure.
Match of the 90s: Can't we just forget the entire 90s, please?! OK, how about the Oxford game in which Fettis scored?
Match of the 80s: Spurs away in the Cup (Norman's greatest day)? The 5-4 at Orient? The Burnley '84 game? One of the late-80s Leeds encounters? (Perhaps that 3-2 defeat that featured Steve Doyle's great goal?)

I only started going in the late 90s, so my list will be short.

    90s: Hull 8-4 Whitby, 1996, I think Duane Darby scored 5 or 6?
    00s: Sheffield Wed 2-4 Hull, 2004

I only started going in the 90's so I'm going with the 7-1 v Crewe & probably the 2-1 v Palace before the play offs in 2008 it's a close one with the following 3 games in the semis & that magic day at Wembley. For the 10's I'll have to say Leeds last year.

That was ace that game. 2-0 down at half-time we were anarl.

Whitehurst x 2 and Steve 'BB' Maclaren I think were the scorers.

It was like destined after we equalised. The corner came in (presumably Askew) and even before it got near the penalty area, you knew Billy was going to nod it in. He seemed to hang in the air forever. Time slowed down.

Yep me too, fantastic comeback, great atmosphere, and even a couple of pitch invasions, happy days. If anyone knows of a link to the highlights i would love to see it again.

The Liverpool game in 1989 is another contender from the 80s - as is the Bradford away win in the previous round.

I wasn't born until 1987 and didn't go until about 1994, I can remember my first game being 5-1 win against Exeter.

1990's 8-4 win v Whitby Town, Duane Darby scored six.
    2000's Play Off Final
2010's 2-1 Win at KC vs Man City
