    To sack Hughes?

I was just curious as the man himself has said nothing as far as I can see, and the media haven't produced anything about this.

Many of us on here are business savvy, and I for one would quite like to know what landed on the P+L report as a consequence...

I suppose it was for the remainder of his contract, but how much was that?

3 years at 3m a year. He served us for ten months ish... I reckon he got about £6.3 million. That's like a huge lottery win. It's a nice piece of work for a total and utter failure. We're all in the wrong game!

I'll be amazed if he's got that as a lump sum. I think they'd have a very good case for termination for incompetence...

We should've paid him £1 plus Bobby Zamora and Park Ji Sung.

It's funny, in any other job you poor perform and your just sacked, football managers have to be brought out of there contracts. I need to get in a industry where you only need to perform in the Interviews and the sooner you get sacked the bigger your payout.

Any Ideas for my career change ? Cus I've plan got it wrong at the moment.

Put it this way ..................... he wasn't paid on results!
Just goes to show you don't need a conscious to be a manager.

As we say here in Oz, Ned Kelly was a gentleman .................. compared to thieves like MH.

Footnote - Ned Kelly is our most infamous bush ranger who robbed, pillaged and murdered his way through life until he was caught and shot dead.

If that's true, and to answer the original question, the entire amount of the rest of his contract would have been expensed to the P&L as a specific provision. That amount will be utilised month by month, with the balance released back to the P&L as income if Hughes gets another job (and QPR get to stop paying him any more money).
