I don't think Brix is on much himself these days. Other than a couple of good contributions on the Guns thread, he's not been doing much posting the last while.

I doubt he's even noticed me 'aving a go at him!

For what it is worth I thought the bridges thread was very good and I do not believe people couldn't see it for what it was. A laugh.

I'm sure you say that in jest swords. We're lucky to have Brix and Nuts as our mods on here. For whatever your dealings are on here are with them, they seem to strike the right balance. They are both excellent contributors and only act if necessary. It was just unfortunate for you that your 'Building Bridges' thread was written by you. Your reputation preceeded you and that's why the initial postings were so aggressive. Brix was left with no choice. If it had been written by anyone else than it might of been the thread of the year. Especially in respect of the result. It was a well constructed post though.

This and what Grifter said on the other thread just about say it all.

I did love the bit about going to the Bridge to support our neighbours when we were playing away....very funny :)

I didn't like the "Building Bridges' thread, but I have no sense of humour :emoticon-0138-think

(Always around Swords, always around. Don't speak unless I got something to say.)

Nines you are so spot on you might as well be me! Thanks for that - and thanks to all for the astute bit of self-moderating going on on this thread. Well impressed!

As for THAT thread, I thought the OP was like a lot of Swords' brainwaves, very well crafted mate. But in forgetting your recently earned rep, the bridge you proposed was a bridge to far for some of our more passionate comrades. So it didn't work mate. Sorry.

BUT you're a bright bloke. Light bulbs by the crate load, you are. Come up with a better one - one that's sharp but ain't likely to piss people off.

I didn't realise that either. Hope all is cool with him and his family <ok> and agree with your comments that he is a top poster.
As i have said before this is a forum and sometimes we say things that others don't like or agree with. At the end of the day we are all Rangers (except Swords :emoticon-0136-giggl, sorry) and i hope, like me that after we finish on a thread we are finished on a thread and move on. WE wont alway agree but that's what i like about this forum.

SH might have light bulbs by the crate load, but they are all dim that's why he has so many, so he can see!
