although we are eternally grateful for the success you have brought us we all know that you know f*ck all about football, so please take it from us and sell torres now!! even if its for 1 quid and buy another striker, because torres is f*cking sh*te and a total waste of space and if he is not here benitez will not be able to pick him !! simples.

I'd rather have Sturridge here than Torres. And that is saying something because I don't rate him very highly at all.

Whenever Torres is on the field our players look lost. We don't have a target man. Only when Demba Ba came on did we look like we had someone to aim for, but unless he's our main striker until we can get someone else in too we will continue to falter up front and end up conceding stupid goals in the end.

  7. That must be it for Torres, surely?

I know that Coco was brought to try to salvage something of the money that the Russian paid for him, but even he must now know that he's flogging a dead Spanish horse.

Personally, I'd love it if you keep playing Torres instead of Ba, because you always look vulnerable when you do, but I suspect that won't happen. Not sure where that leaves Coco, though.

It must be galling that you got rid of the much-loved RDM when he knew exactly what he was doing, leaving Torres on the bench.

How come Raffa left him on the pitch until the 80th minute? Ba should have come on at the start of the 2nd half!

Hazard, but that was because it was early December, Sturridge was injured/agreed to move to Liverpool and we had nobody else

  11. Where have you been living the past few months?

RDM benched Torres, and shortly after was sacked. Coco was promptly brought, making all kinds of wild promises that he'll get him playing like he did at 'Pool.

Fat Spanish Waiter is trying my patience. I went a long time with AVB (who, incidentally, I'd prefer to fatty) and I'll try to go along with Rafa, but I'm considering going back on everything I said in his support. No manager can ever leave Ba on the bench when you're starting Torres. He's the parasite that kills the team. So many times he's let us down. Rafa knows this surely? There is no defending Torres. I'm sure he's a nice chap and all, but he needs to get out now.

Varier if Benitez should go after tonight then so should ivanovic. Everyone blames rafa but if it weren't for ivanovic we don't lose. I don't see you calling for ivanovic's head.

  16. Wumming? Not at all, Ozzie. I've not been on this board for several days, as there hasn't been much of interest for me - the Saints v Chelsea match, aside.

But (a) the possibility of Lampard leave CFC (whether or not he goes to United) and (b) your loss to Swansea in the Cup, tonight, both are big discussion topics, that anyone interest in football, especially a fan of a rival club, is going to be interested in.

I don't think anyone could possibly accuse me of wumming. Sure, I might not say things that you like (the truth does sometimes hurt, Ozzie), but that doesn't automatically make me a wum.

i really think rafa is to scared to sub torres to early, in case he gets the sack from roman, i really believe that rafa is told to start with torres, why not the 2 of them, as kalou said roman runs this club, if you dont play my 50m player you are in trouble, sadly that looks to be true

this is what i think that rafa has been told that torres is the number one. what ever the reasons for him being picked in front of ba it is and will continue to cost us dearly
