    http://www1.skysports.com/football/...illas-Boas-says-there-are-no-plans-at-Chelsea

July 2012 - AVB dig at Chelsea and Chelsea Owner

July 2012 - AVB dig at Chelsea Players

November 2012 - AVB dig at Chelsea and regime at the club

January 2013 - AVB dig at Chelsea

There must be some like me that said back in July he only took that job to try and spite us, I think most would agree he's a decent coach but a poor/mediocre manager at the moment but the management side of the game can be developed whereas coaching is more nature over nurture. If I were a Spurs fan I wouldn't be happy with the fact that nearly every 3 months an employee seems to still have his mind focused elsewhere. The likes of Ranieri, Mourinho, Ancelotti and RDM have been sacked less justifiably but yet still had/have nothing but pleasant things to say on the odd occasion they have been asked to speak about the club.

Whilst I'd agree that he should forget about Chelsea and get on with the job at hand, I think he's still upset about the way that things were done.
It's clear that he was told to get rid of your older players and bring in a new system and style, yet the rug was pulled out from under him when he tried to and he wasn't backed.
Rafa's making similar noises about moving on the old guard now, so it's clearly something that's being directed from above.

He needs to consign his time with Chelsea to the history books, forget about it and move on.
It's not doing him any good to keep bringing it up every so often, so why bother?

They had to make a choice between senior players and a young manager who didn't have the managerial skills to have his views carried out! He's now learned from it and will grow! Our senior players however all seem to be heading for the exit door! (look after them on the way up, you might need them on the way down)

Nothing to do with his focus being elsewhere or signing for us to spite you. It's likely we were offering a better deal to him and the opportunity to work with a better squad than Valencia. I'm sure him feeling he has unfinished business in the Premier League too. Was Ranieri's sacking really less justified? The guy spent over £100mill of Abramovich's money, I'm not surprised he was excpeted to win the league. AVB was only saying he felt his sacking was harsh though and not comparing it to others but the fact that there are others that you could say didn't deserve to be sacked backs up his point about Abramovich.

I don't think there's really much argument that what he said is true, Abramovich was making a departure from his normal appointments to take a more longterm approach which he didn't carry out. I don't think there's much argument either that he has an itchy trigger finger and is too involved with the manager's business. Coming out and saying it though is unprofessional, it's not even like we're playing you next. I thought he did well to deal with the inevitable Chelsea questions when he first signed for us and whilst I don't remember him having a dig at Chelsea in November, I think it's time for him to move on and stop responding to questions about Chelsea now.

As it is now, I think AVB has been responding better to less pressure from the board room. I'm not sure how much say he had in the early summer transfers we made but looking at them they were at least bought with him in mind. The leeway Levy has allowed AVB in terms of results and style of play has helped too, we've had a far from ideal start to the season yet somehow it's been turned around we're placed exactly where we need to be. Possibly the most important thing is that he's got our first 11 players fully behind him, you hear them speak about him and it's clear they all buy into what he's selling. Those that think he's a bad man manager might point to some fringe players being less happy but that's normal at a club and when even Cech had nothing but good words to say about him, the finger has to point at the Chelsea Player Mafia that have helped undermine a few Chelsea managers in their time.

The jury's still out for me on whether he's the right man for the job but at the moment I'm happy for him to see out the rest of the season and look forward to seeing how we shape up next season, when I believe the real test of how good his plan and managerial ability is.

Its fair to say YV, that he is one of a number that were given their P45 where you could say it was "forseeable" having clearly encountered rebellion from certain key players! I say foreseeable as we are all stll mystified by the exits of Ranieri, Mourinho, Ancellotti and Di Mateo!

  7. I have absolutely nothing wrong with AVB still feeling betrayed by the Russian, because I believe it will drive him to prove his worth by ensuring that we get CL footy, year in and year out. I'm sure he won't be happy until and unless he is at the helm when Spurs finish above Chelsea, perhaps even taking their place in the CL. I certainly don't see it as any form of "distraction" and if it is, it is a healthy one. Cloughie appeared to be motivated to out-do Leeds, all his career, and look where that took him!

Whilst I am still not 100% convinced that AVB is our man, I must admit that he has done much to persuade me that he is; and I do believe that he is far better that most Chelsea fans give him credit for, under-playing the role that the likes of Terry, Lampard, and Drogba played in CFC's lack of performances last season, and AVB's eventual sacking.

I would say the rug was pulled out from under him because he went about getting rid of the older players too fast. This was rightly highlighted with Chelsea's very successful season. Sorry AVB (average bastard) you were proved wrong and remain a second draw manager along with the spuds.

  11. You say that, Ozzie, and yet CFC seem to be doing okay without Terry, Drogba, and with Lampo making the odd cameo appearance. I'd say that that proves that AVB knew exactly what he was doing and that he was right.

You Chelsea fans didn't have the balls to blame your heros, so you took the easy option and allowed the Russian to make a scape-goat of AVB. Had you lot had the balls to stand up to the Russian back then, perhaps you wouldn't now be stuck with Coco, for the foreseeable future.

How do you know you wouldn't have won the CL with AVB? That's all guesswork. I remember when he arrived at Chelsea he said"Let's win the CL." Now how do you know you'd have won it if RDM had been there from the beginning of the season? You don't do you?

Pretty much a stupid comment as we won the CL & FA Cup but maybe you missed that cos your head was to far up your own arsehole.

The above comment proves this to be wrong.

No need to as they proved by winning the CL & F.A.Cup.

In the nick of time! Ridding ourselves of the perrenial tea-boy paid dividends didn't it.

Well we won the CL & F.A Cup and you got the tea-boy, seems like a marriage made in heaven.

Quite frankly Herbert you do talk a right load of bollocks but we expect that from a delusional spud.

  17. Hello, Ozzie! Glad to see you out this evening. I was rather thinking that you'd be too ashamed to show your face, tonight.

    Well done, to you <ok>

What a stupid little wum you are! Why they ever let a twat like you to post on this board after Ginger ****ed you off is a ****ing mystery.

I thought we played well tonight and were the better team all round. Michu punished an uncharacteristic mistake by Ivan but our finishing let us down. If Ba plays at Swansea we will go through.

How did your small club do tonight?.......... <laugh>

  19. We were knocked out early on, as you well know.

Anyway, it doesn't matter if you are knocked out in the 4th round or the semis - still no Final for either of us <ok>
