In fairness, if you had to parry the ball to the feet of any striker, you'd choose Bendtner, 9 times out of 10 he'd have missed it ;)

You're not wrong there.I recall slagging him off no end prior to the game saying he was uber ****e.

The ****er then goes and scores the winner, still a donkey though.

I agree with granthull I always thought Myhills distribution wasn't too bad. In fact I heard his was classed as one of the most accurate kickers of the ball outside the premier league, which is probably what lead to him being told to kick it more that throw or roll out. We've definatly had keepers with worse distribution before and since.

That said mannone is one of the quickest most positive distributers of a ball I've seen at the club and would be my preferred option.

Agree that Mannone should be our first choice. However lets not too carried away - he's played about a dozen games for us and didn't, as I recall cover himself in glory in the first half against Boro and was guilty of Readings equaliser at the KC.

Myhill on the other hand, warts and all, is a quality keeper IMO - certainly at this level. I don't recall people criticising him before we got promoted to the PL. His performances in the away playoff game at Watford not to mention the playoff final itself were certainly far from shabby.

Other than Tony Norman I find it difficult as a supporter of the Club for over 40 years to find a better keeper in City colours.

    Just my opinion mind.

This is one of the funniest posts I've read in a while! Yeah thats the only real mistake I remember him making in the prem. I remember some utterly shocking ones in the championship though. Sheff wed away comes to mind. Anywho I'd take him back in a heartbeat. Exceptional shot stopper, just needs to command his area better.
