With the arrival of N'Diaye and quite possibly Mangane, both centre midfielders and Catts to return. What does this mean for Gardner, will he be converted into a full time right back now? Colback, will he be kept as our reserve left back and also able to cover centre mid if they were to be a few injuries in that position? Or could both be told they have limited futures at the club? Meyler has gone and I would expect Vaughan to leave this month as well.
Not sure mate, I just seen the number 8 shirt he wears and his goalscoring record. If he is a defender he scores more then most in that position.
Mangane is a CB mate, but he gets goals from corners, and if I recall correctly, smashes in a great free kick on occasion!
I too expect Vaughan to be shown the door, but Gards and Jack to stay on as midfielder/full back cover, if not full-time full-back in Gards case...Jack will be the utility kid. We have a paper thin squad and can't afford to lose either...
Class, 2 problem areas and MON has identified them straightway. Both from abroad as well, wonders never cease but I'm more then happy with this. No1 is gonna **** with us now with these 2 in the team!
If we were to start playing Connor, we'd have a spine of absolute bruisers. We've lacked this for years, and it would surely free up Sess & AJ to do some damage.
Me aswell! Lol Mo'n could do with a few positive selection headaches tbf! Meyler, vaughan to carlisle, catts out long term
In response to the original post, a premier league squad can consist of more than 11 players. We need a bigger squad. Players we don't want can be transferred to Hull
