got a new job through in Glasgow, just need to speak to HR and check when they want me to start then ensure my expenses have cleared (its a whopper this month) then its time to stick it to the man. ya ****ing dancer!
whats the new job? and more importantly does it affored suitable opportunity to do **** all and go on the internet all day?
monitoring and diagnostics engineer working on gas turbines for ge energy. i'll need to scope out the situation when i get there and see what the skiving situation is, if i have to actually work for a living it will be a bit of a shock to the system. i dont know anything about gas turbines but i do interview well
Tell the truth, when she asked the first question you started rocking in the corner, crying and saying "I've seen some things" with the occasional "AFGHANISTAAAAAAAN" scream thrown in. It's not really a job, it's a place in a nut house you got
no one ever tells the truth in interviews I had one a few weeks ago about going to uni, i dont think i spoke a word of the truth all the time i was there
in my interview for the job im in now i was talking about iraq and made myself sound like son=me sort of special forces communications guru i think i did sound a bit crazy in the first ge interview, the hr woman asked if i had my time again would i still do my time in the army it kinda caught me off gaurd and i switched into 1000 yard stare mode and all i could think to say was "i dont think i could answer that", but luckily i got the mask back on pretty quick!
i'm glad you think its funny! who the **** asks that? she obviously wanted some combat chris evans loving. i dont think i actually lied this time, i just did that thing where whenever they ask you a question you ask one back and let them talk away, then pitch in with a few more questions to keep them going. before they know if you're an hour in and they think you're brainy as ****. lets get that contract signed so i can start showing them just how wrong they are! was at a wedding last night so also feel pretty rough, might drop my guts whilst telling my boss just for the added effect
Take a nice steaming ****e slap bang on the middle of his desk. For added effect, you should then place your resignation either on top of the ****e, or if it's the right consistency, stick it in the ****e so it's sticking out He will definetely appreciate that I have an interview on Thursday for a college Need to do higher chemistry and need interviewed because I don't have standard grade chemistry My 5 1s, 3 2s, 2 As, 3 Bs and HNC in civil engineering don't matter I think the higher chemistry may be the eastiest thing I'll ever do in my life
i hope you fail you smug ****er! i'm really looking forward to it, it was a work wedding yesterday so we're all a bit rough (apart from him, he didnt go because his mrs has him by the balls), he asked if i was rough and i said nothing 10 hours sleep wouldnt cure "well you can sleep when you get home", aye, cheers for that. short staffed are we ****o? fyi, i wont be finishing that project
i did such a great job at my interview for uni i got in with no where near the entry requirements they wanted 5 B's in 1 sitting i have an HNC 1advanced higher B and 1 Higher B all in the same subject. i got an unconditional offer 3 days after the interview
also meant to give them 3 months notice which isnt going to happen. i'll see when ge want me to start but i reckon it should be about a month which is fairly normal. what are you lots notice periods? 3 months is bonkers
Mine is 1 month I thought that was the standard notice period. 3 months They probably do that to discourage ****s from leaving for other jobs. I'm sure they will be more than happy to cut your notice period, especially considering what a **** you are
I'm hoping we get redundancies next summer. I'm leaving anyway, so a bit of redundancy cash could go a long way
pretty sure they should be okay about it, they're moving into ed city center and adding another 40-60mins onto my already one hour long commute so they cant really complain. i worked out that once we're there i'll be doing approx 20hours travelling a wk. thats a ****ing day plus mo' money, less hours and bugger all travelling plus the receptionist is smoking hot
just spoke to the HR woman (via the smoking hot receptionist) so just need to do a background check then its all good, apparently these take a couple of wks then do my notice and away, she said if needs be i could do my full notice but i'll be doing a month and no more as ge are paying more. anyone know what they do through a background check? she said they were going to go through my last 7 years employment cant even remember everywhere i've worked.
