I know most won't agree, yet one of the reasons I couldn't take to Villa Boas, was that I had him down as an angry bitter man inside, that is still wanting to prove a point to chelsea, and I saw through his charm offensive when he first came to the club. I'm sure he views us as second best, and one of the reasons he took the job was to prove Chelsea wrong, which is why he keeps making reference to how we give him more freedom and time. Its similar to a relationship, when someone is still bitter or hasn't got over an ex, they always compare and refer to their ex, or try and talk up their present when their still bitter about their past. Move over Jeremy Kyle,
Talking of Michu, there was this article in the Daily Fail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Villa-Stoke-Fulham-Leeds-Swansea-swooped.html Which has us down as a one of the clubs which turned him down in the summer.
Boss,he might or might not view us as second best but he has every chance of making us best hasn't he? You might or might not be right in all you say but I think that he's learnt from his mistakes at Chelsea ie big mouth"We'll do this and we'll do that" etc and he's being very serious about us. I also think that he'd have declined offers from a lot of other clubs but not us. He wouldn't go to Stoke or Sunderland or other such no hopers. I'm now quietly confident about him and others inside football also have respect for him. He just needs a chance at a club and to date we are giving him that chance.
"we want Demba Ba" coming from the Chelsea fans, I don't think they give a crap about lowering Torres' confidence anymore and quite rightly too, he's been **** again.
I know that the match isn't over yet but if it finishes this way what the hell do we make of Chelsea? They score eight and then can be beaten at home by the bottom club, then score five and now struggle again. Strange.
Probably, although Torres' problem is that all he does is "****ing run about a bit" Rafa sarcastically applauded for making the change, then Torres booed, then Ba cheered. Marin on for Oscar now too. That's 3 like for like changes from Rafa, I'm not sure why he's thought another 10 minutes of the same style of play will bring anything different.
Potentially a Bradford v Swansea final. What would the odds have been on that at the beginning of the tournament?! God I hate Chelsea. I think overall more than Arsenal when you take both fans and players into account.
2-0 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nearly 2-1, Chelsea denied by offside straight from the kick off.
We can hope. Swansea will be in a very strong position if they see this out. This game reminds me of our game against them, it can be a fine line sometimes between being the better side and winning and being wasteful and losing. 2-0 final score.
