Liverpool Board Moderation

I know I retracted my vote to be mod, but I'll put it back in the mix. Just so I can put my point across and see who votes for my communist rule.

 

Supermods should trust their mods entirely(and give them powers to insta-ban) but if they can't then they should get ones they can.

 

Dont think Hash wants the job back anyway but check with him directly.

So I take it the winner will temp mod with the possibility of it becoming permenant?

I'll do a thread later so we can give everyone a chance to put their hat in the ring and so that we can have a laugh.

 

I'm guessing that we can't vote for ourselves? I'm hoping we can cause no one else will vote for me otherwise

I am not buying into his argument that it is a lengthy process. Since i have been a mod, brb has been quick in replying to mods requests for users to be banned and replies within hours and most of the time even more quicker.

Perhaps it was more lengthier before, but from what i have noticed, brb has been very quick to deal with requests.

Some mods would likely abuse their "powers" and would ban users they don't get on with. so its a slippery slope to recommend all mods to be given banning powers.

Mick posted this ages ago about giving mods the power to ban users.

The irony is if Hash had just banned the user just from the Liverpool board, then they would still be mods, as no one would probably have noticed.

As far as I know, Mick will re-instate myself and Hash once he's fixed the bug. However Hash doesn't want to be a mod anymore, so that leaves 1 position place open.

 

First off that's libelous secondly you cant just ban off individual boards its site ban or nothing

Expect a phonecall at work ... even though how your going to phone yourself i dunno

 

I'm not included either .. It's criminal
