First of all I would like to thank Yorkie for all his efforts as a moderator on this board and for keeping us all in line! Yorkie has done a great job and I hope that he continues to contribute as a mere mortal! Now that Yorkie has decided to step down I would like to nominate a new moderator, a poster that has expressed an interest and one which I know will do a fantastic job for us on this board. I would like to nominate King Of Portman Rd for the job and I hope that he will accept it. If the rest of you are in agreement or would like to nominate someone else for the job then please use this thread for your suggestions.
I'd like to state that i do not have the time to take on the role, so before my many supporters nominate me i'd like to withdraw myself from consideration for the said position. I throw my full weight and support behind KoPr with his clean cut image and impeccable moral fibre i'm sure he can take us forward with integrity.
If you watched a little less porn whilst eating quavers you might find you have plenty of time to take up said position. Be careful about throwing your full weight behind somebody, thats a lot of weight and would do some damage. Many thanks to Lancs and long live the King ( Of Portman Road).

I was about to throw my weight behind weighty as I’m one of his many admirers. KoPR is fine by me, especially if his stated policy is to ban Norwich trolls and, should he ever be elected to high office, execute them in painful and prolonged ways.
Yes thanks to Lancs. I think whoever wants to do it, I'd appreciate it, as someone is doing it for our benefit!! I'd be more than happy for KOPR to do it, if he wishes as I can see him being a very responsible moderator!! He does definitely want to do it doesn't he?? We're not just all peer pressuring him into it are we??
I think KoPR would do a sterling job (brb's approval permitting). Guru being inactive of course if someone else also wants to throw their hat in the ring there is plenty of scope for two mods.
KOPR would be fine with me too. Was going to put myself forward if nobody else was interested but I'm on at a different time to many of you so not sure how much I could control it. Many thanks to Hampy, and to KOPR for stepping up.
I threw my hat in the ring so I could lord it over all you peasants..... obviously I jest I thought i'd step up so we weren't left without a rudder I was expecting some other nominations and would (if accepted into the magic circle) be more than happy to have an amigo to help me keep order... a batman & robin (or Del boy & Rodney) combo.. particularly as although I'm regular I do miss the odd day here and there If people would like to actually vote that might be a nice show of democracy Also thank you for all your kind words and weighty i'd vote for you regardless
And be careful about asking for a vote. It doesn't need to be turned into a popularity contest or force people into taking sides. You can gauge from peoples reactions that they would be quite happy if you took over.
As I said I sometimes struggle to visit here everyday (ironically whilst I'm in Suffolk due to our cup & string style internet connection) and if I'm honest I sort of nominated myself before actually thinking but I'll happily step up to the plate if needed/wanted as I thoroughly enjoy this forum and feel my dictatorship would be a success
Yeah, not in favour of a vote, it's not a popularity contest. Looks like that's decided then from our, if you will, end.
