This one doesn't seem to be going away. It's looking more likely now. I hope he's got more chops than the last mag we bought.

£4 m bid has been put in at this moment according to bbc sport, and Paris st germain are in for Cristiano ronaldo!, for how much though, come MON get a bid in say £60 m !, i reckon him and Johnson would do well together.

Suppose he does come here, its nice to see that so many people would be willing to give him a chance.

How is that any better than what these people are raging about?

He seems a bit of a clogger to me, but his scoring rate is actually not bad. With him and Connor being similar in style, it could generate a bit of competition to pair up with Fletch, AS LONG AS MARTY PLAYS TWO UP FRONT (hint there, Mr O'Neill).

I am less bothered about the mag connection than most on here. After all, there is more joy in Heaven over one sinner that repents than over a thousand virtuous men. Or something like that. Point being, we can lead him out of his nasty mag ways and convert him to the one true path.

And if he ****s up we can always let the dorty bastard rot in the reserves while Connor's development continues apace... :)

I think he scored about 12-14 goals last season and 3 in his last 3 games this season. Thats not to be sniffed at.

Where's the mag connection come from?
He used to live on the same estate as my sister and clean her windows in Teesside. He also came through Boros youth system, so I'm abit confused? !

I've just checked Wikipedia. I didn't realise he was born in Gateshead!

This is what I was asking earlier but no one has come back with an answer he was with Boro then loaned to Carlisle etc so does the mag connection mean he supported them as a kid ???????

I know his mother through a former job.

He is as black-and-white as they come and has the same feeling towards us as most craas do.

He is a gateshead craa who joined the boro as a boy.

He won't get my support at all and when Derby day is here, just watch. He'll either be out injured or will **** up on purpose.

Another disaster waiting to happen imo

If he hates us so much, then why would he join us? It's hard to make sense of it all.

Laudrup said he doesn't know of any potential transfer to Sunderland. I for one don't wish to see Danny Graham come to Sunderland because I don't think he is next level. Much rather see Guidetti on loan for now.

They all take our money mate. Then they stick 2 fingers up first opportunity they get.

Like that **** Clark, he will take our money so he can be close to home, mix with his scumbag mates and take the piss. He will either be injured for the derby games or just not give a **** if he has to play.

We just won't ****ing learn. These ****ers don't help up ever and leave the Stokoe and Colback stories out. One was from 40 years ago and different era and the other has been with us since 12 years old.

    Buying in scum doesn't work.

I don't go down the 'he's a Mag so he won't do the business road', as Lee Clarke was excellent for us before he let himself, and us, down by posing for that picture. Chopra too rarely let us down in his time with us, although I do think he lost his bottle in the match at the sportsdirect... I suppose that what I'm saying is that if he does sign for us he will get my full support.

I don't think this would necessarily push Connor down. Him and Graham are similar in style and should be left in a battle for the starting role up front with Fletch. Just think, TWO strikers with quality on the bench. I quite like the idea...

Billy, I played football with his dad Davy for Beamish and East Tanfield, hard as rocks and Sunderland to the core, Barry used to come and watch his dad when he was a bairn.
