Difficult bumper at Donny. Lotus Pond is a tentative shout but no bet for me.

Curiosity question ....... it seems as if the season ended on Dec 31st, and presumably restarted on Jan 1st. But why should a NH flat race have a different "season" start and finish date than the regular NH races? I bet it's something obvious!

In a vain attempt to play up the winnings from earlier i've backed two in the Ludlow bumper. Sun and Stars at 11/2 each way and Chancealot e/w at 33/1 although I now see that's available at 40's in a place.

Well done Heis. Really liked the way Reveley galvanised a little more out of the winner.

    Not to be, sadly.

However King of Dudes put me in front overall so happy days, and well done the forum's Knight <applause>

I made enough to take my grand-daughter to see the Hobbit tonight (erm ... the movie, that is - I don't think she'd be impressed with Mick Fitzgerald)

Good luck any remaining players <ok>

Off out for food later so just had a quick look at the Bridge tomorrow, had to back Desperate Dex who has fair form with a couple who ran stormers in the Welsh National. He can continue his rekindling with a proper trainer tomorrow!! 9/1 with B365 too
