The English government will have to foot the bill if they want it moved, an England without nuclear weapons would affect its status as a major world power, and would be seen as weakening them by other nations, therefore they would be over a barrel and have no option but to foot the bill. Scotland does not want nuclear weapons so worst case scenario is that we would disarm trident and just leave it where it is. Alternatively we could just blow up London, the muslim world would be very grateful and send us lots of free petrol as a way of saying thanks
