It's time it was banned. There's no place for using animals as entertainment in the 21st century.

Piss off, no animals outside of humans get treated as well as race horses, either in captivity or the wild.

What happens to an animal in the wild when it breaks it's leg and can't fend for itself?

The RSPCA come and find it to give it a loving home, with the help of a £2 donation, you could be giving this Horse a very happy home.

  7. Depends if they've been smart enough to take pet insurance. Or just personal insurance to them.

What's that got to do with using animals for your sick entertainment?

We're not talking about wild animals here. We're talking about animals bred and kept in captivity for the entertainment of humans. To cite wild animals is simply a way to detract from the original point because you cannot justify the cruelty.

Poor attempt at wumming Stereo, why don't you discuss the battery farming of chicken/cows/pigs when actually humans could get all their protein and various other nutrients from plants?

Why do we force an animal to live in terrible conditions and die a worthless life just because we like the taste of bacon?

Why focus on 'cruelty' dealt out to one of the best treated animals in the UK?

    You are just at it.

    1. Not a WUM

    2. I'm a vegetarian.

    3. I work in politics and often work with organisations such as the SSPCA, WWF, CIWF, WSPA etc. (ask around if you don't believe me - I often talk about my work on here.)

Again, you're trying to justify one act of cruelty by citing another act. A bit like the "aye but..." accusation you make against the likes of EDGE!

Well personally I'd rather be a race horse than a wild horse roaming about the wildnerness. Better chances of survival, kept extremely fit, good health care, being put to stud...

Let's all go back to the stone-age; I'm sure we would all be much happier.

So banning animal cruelty is the same as going back to the stone age. Very strange logic.

If we banned horse riding, hopefully all the pikies would **** off somewhere else. I'm right behind you on this one ST.
