it is said that they had a bust up last year when dave jones left him out of the playoff final squad and when Gerrard returned for preseason dave jones said he was carrying to much wait and that's why he went on loan. Now after being back days Dave Jones again is not happy as 5 players including Gerrard defied his orders and went out drinking.

Could be good news as Dave Jones may well of had enough of him and sell him to us <ok>

I think you've misread the story, one part is about Gerrard at the start of the season, the other part is about five players who went out drinking last Friday night, Gerrard wasn't one of them, he was with us in Brizzle.

Sorry OLM your right i have totally misread the article i still think they might be a bit of tension between Gerrard and Dave though i mean he sent out on loan becuase he had to much weight and being left out of the playoff final squad when he played most of the season must be really heartbreaking

Because I like correcting you Reece I think you meant 'weight' and not 'wait'

I quite like people correcting spelling mistakes (in a friendly way).

Let's hope he's welcomed back with open arms. Gerrard has made it clear that he'd rather be at Cardiff - not a problem, thanks for his efforts this season. I'd rather NP sign Hobbs and Ayala.

I'd rather NP signed Ayala and AN Other if Gerrard doesn't want to come back. Though Chester is a decent CB and we could have the young lad Cooper as cover, with Paul McShane as possible cover if nobody comes in for him.

Not sure (if true) why Gerrard would rather be at Cardiff. That said Hobbs Ayala and James Chester would be an excellent trio of CB's for next season.

TWF I've read most of your crazy rants without commentating on them but to still put forward Paul McShane as central defensive cover is really the last straw. I hope we never have to suffer the Ginger Ninja ever again in a Tigers shirt he is the most out of control ,uncoordinated , irritating excuse for a player I've ever seen. Lee Cattermole,Joey Barton ,Craig ***an and Paul McShane are the worst role models in English soccer.

Fortunately, Barnsley seem quite keen on keeping Macca, so hopefully he'll be on his way shortly.

I'd rather he didn't come back to be honest, he did a good job for us this season but his attitude inst the greatest. Not something I would want in a hungry Tigers squad.

Suppose that will depend on their manager staying, which I think he will
