Yeah, I think the mods should be able to vote too, and in the event of a tie I'd like to see them get the casting vote. They will have to work with the person after all.
Double post due to my misunderstanding. Apologies. However, I'll take this opportunity to say I very much agree that present moderators should vote. In fact I believe this is essential. I also hope AG will vote, whatever his present status.
If a person chooses to go public I'd say it's up to them, but for the rest of us who wish to remain incognito then we can do so.
Very good point. Having said that, it is probably too late to include manifestos so perhaps we should just do it on instinct?
Manifesto's would be good fun, but my vote is based on who I think is the most impartial member as this is very important (in my view) to be a mod. No offence to the others and it was a close call between my actual vote and another member
Slightly concerned we've only had 15 votes so far. I'm pretty sure we've got more than 15 regular users on here, so some people's views won't be taken into account. But then I suppose we can hardly wait around forever.
I havnt voted yet, Im holding off incase we have a tie. 19 members commented in the previous mod thread over a two week period so I expected no more than 20 votes
That's a fair way of judging it BLS. Granted it's the off-season, but a 2 week period should be long enough to canvas most regulars. 15 + yourself would actually be a reasonably decent vote then, that's good to hear.
