I see 'Wild Thing' has been nominated for the League 2 Manager of the month for Wycombe.
    3 wins
    1 Draw
    1 lose
60% win rate and he even scored in one of the games.

Top bloke and always a QPR ledgend.

I remember bumping into him away from football and he spoke to me for 10 mins about QPR and his band. Always looks out for our results and loved his time at the Rangers. If only some of our new breed followed his example i doubt we would be in this mess.
    Good Luck Gareth!!

ilike the guy ,but (controversly) dont rate him as a good player or a legend. Just dont see why others do.

Always gave his all as does Mackie......whats the attraction?..because he's in a band ?

Very average player at best !

Should have been at the Wycombe pre season where 4000 Rangers were singing his name.
For me he will always be a Rangers Legend. Came to our club when we were crap and always gave 100%, agree not the most talented to grace LR but a guy who really cared for QPR. I am not the only one who thinks this, top bloke.

Wild Thing is definately a crowd favourite and a player I have a huge amount of time for...nothing to do with the fact that he was in a band, more to do with him giving 110% every time he played for us. He gave his all for the club and rarely came up short imo. Legend? Probably ;)

So didnt Lee Cook do the same for us over a longer period of time, and Rowlands and gallen and..........?

Sorry, dont see the attraction in a very average player just because he did a bit of PR..

Bare in mind, i was at Wycombe.

i wish him all the best, but he aint a legend in any sense. A crowd favourite ...yes..legend..stupid comment !

Not sure what you are on about, but my appreciation of Ainsworth has nothing to do with any bloody PR.

No need to sling insults around...fair enough you dont rate him thats your opinion, but if someone believes he is a legend, and far more would probably agree than disagree, then it does not make it a stupid comment does it?

    This.
Agree for me Wildthing was everything about what QPR should be about, 1000 times more QPR than what we have now... Never forget what he said about us fans who travelled all the way up north on a cold tuesday evening. Anyway each to their own?
    Short memories

Agree, nearer a legend than not. He really cared and fans appreciate that. Some people just don't get it I am afraid.

He could certainly be regarded as a legend, a legend of his era as to a club legend, but still. A lot of that team really wore the hoops with pride, so sad to see that so much has changed.

No we didnt, and i d love some stato to pull up his record and post it

He was a very average player, but always gave his all. Just because he played at Millwall and had a qpr tattoo does not make him a legend in any way what so ever..

didnt he also have a (millwall) lion tattoo?

Gave his all but I'd put Kevin Gallen Miles ahead of him !! and Cookie, Rowlie etc

He was a sh*te manager. I don't know what QLR is waffling on aboout.

You're mixing him up with Bircham mate. Now there was a very average (sh*t?) player. Still, he gave everything he had so he was alright in my book.

With GA as manager we played 11, won 3, drew 2, lost 6. One of those losses was 1-0 away to Manchester United however, so I would be inclined to not count that one!

Played 10, won 3, drew 2, lost 5. I would rate that as a good record for a caretaker manager when you consider that a caretaker is only in charge because the person before has left us up the creek, often without a paddle!

Truth is, he wasn't even picking the team. He even admitted it!

So Flavio's record was: 3, 2 and 5. Not bad. Why don't some Club try hire the Orange One as Manager?
