This is just bullshit, for this story to have any credibility, it would have taken either Rudolph or Brady to ring up the independent and say "just going back to have a chat we our gaffer before I sign thought I'd let you know". As if either are really going to do that...
I think he is going out on loan in the summer. Dont see it having any affect on Brady signing though.
The Meyler and Brady saga needs sorting out today. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-17790789-detail/story.html? We can then move on and sort out Chester's contract, and bring in a new striker and goalkeeper.
Meyler is done. Just need Brady to stop saying his goodbyes to AF and get his arse back from Manchester and we are finito.
Even if it's true I'm not fussed, we'll just sign him on loan like we originally wanted to do and save ourselves £2m until the summer. Then we can start again with whether it not we sign him, if we're in the prem I'm sure he'd have little doubt in signing then.
The fact that these 2 are taking a bit of time to finalise is probably the Allams/SB not giving in to everything the player/agent wants, I think we saw too much of that in the Duften/Brown era, which nearly bankrupted the club. It probably means that once the deal is done, then it is a fair deal for both sides.
Chester would be a fool to sign now, an offer may be on the table, but I imagine he will wait until Summer when he knows what league we will be playing in.
If the story is true (when was anything in the press ever totally true?) and it's Robbie wanting to talk to Fergie then well done to him. Shows the lad is ambitious and believes in himself
He definitely believes in himself, he is one of the most confident footballers I have seen play for City in quite a while
Still need to get Elmohamady sorted yet. I think he is more important than Brady, but maybe a more difficult deal to close
Gollom on local radio' picked up on this and tonight's show is to discuss whether it's right that the Duchess of York should be involved in football at all.
Exactly. The fact that our bid was accepted should tell you all you want to know on how SAF feels about Brady. As good as Brady is he is nowehere near a starter for MU. Dont think it will be long before an official press release is given out.
I doubt thats far from the truth actually. No rush on Chester to do anything except help Hull City to the PL for now.
having read ALL the above.. 1. It now is clearer why we've offered more than £2m - to beat Watford 2. It shows SB wants Brady. Brady will choose us over Watford for a number of reasons anyway. 3. No player would wish to leave Man U if at all possible 4. If he's surpless at Man U he would want to leave OT in the best possible manner and if you wanted football career advice who would you consult first? SAF 5. SAF will say HCAFC under ex-Red devil SB is a good place to improve 6. Brady is an excellent signing for us.
Also I don't think Fergie will mess Bruce around with him being one of his favoured ex-players turned manager. Buttner has looked poor but whether Fergie would see Brady as a possibility in that position I don't know.
Just noticed the thread about potential Everton interest in Brady and also that David Moyes seems concerned that Baines might have an ankle problem.........
I really don't know how any City fan can hold that opinion after all the help we've got from Fergie over the years. Are you one of these City fans who has Liverpool as a second club?
I felt that fergie was half the problem as to why campbell didnt come to hull when we got promoted last time, due to the fact he wanted berbatov and needed to give tottenham a striker as a deal breaker so to speak, the other half was fraizers dad. who knows mayb there is a player that fergie wants and this time brady is the porn yet again at our expense.
