I think fair enough. He's put in a seasons worth and more compared to a lot of them at the half way point. He's got to think of his future and of his family. Thats life, unfortunately. He's got his priorities right.

I don't buy into all this "he needs to look after his family" stuff. These guys are all millionaires FFS! As far as I'm concerned he's dumped us in the middle of a relegation battle in which he's been our most important defender. Gutted and would prefer not to hear any more weasel words from him. Time to move on.

Its hard with meat heads like COL shouting their mouth off. Who gives a toss about Nelson or Taarabt or any other cu*t for that matter. They're all just a number. Its the Club people should care for.
If he is a release clause, fair enough. If not, he should have been made to see out his contract. We are in a very precarious position and we can't afford to lose our best defender.
