Well, I meant from St Stephen's but to be fair there is a Nando's in both St Stephen's and in Princes Quay, and there is another Bob Carvers (his son's) on erm... thing street where Bass House is.
I agree, I only maybe go once a month. I do keep fit and eat healthily and usually I just fry chicken at home with pitta breads and salad with Nandos sauce with you can buy from ASDA for about £2. It's practically the same isn't it!
I can't think of anywhere I'd rather eat less than bloody Nando's. At the end of the day, it's chicken - a very bland and boring meat - in a bit of spicy sauce. Hardly the height of culinary achievement, and not exactly a lesson in 'dining'.
Do you know what I hate most about it? The way that spotty eejits in their teens and early-twenties think that eating there makes them cultured in some way. They say they're 'going out for a meal', and then it transpires that what they're actually doing is going with their equally contemptible friends, partner or relatives to have a ****ty bit of chicken in a chain restaurant. Bastards.
Glad it's not just me, and I agree about buying a bottle of Nando's sauce from Asda and it being exactly the same, but in a nicer environment.
