Yes. I'll say one thing for you Mussie, you're the only person I know who hates the premier league more than me. Or should I say sees through the hype more than me.

Mussie, the reason is simple. Our PL clubs don't go throwing vast amounts of money to buy players, officials and generally dabble in corruption like our European counterparts, so obviously there won't be anyone from the PL in that.

I find it odd you like banging on about corruption from Murdoch, the PL etc, when we're beginners in it compared to Italy and Spain.

Did any Championship players make it?

Can't see how RVP didn't make it. He's had an amazing year.

I reckon a lot of it comes down to how well they did in the euros and if you play for a country who were deemed to have failed such as England, Netherlands, etc. then you won't make it compared to someone Spanish or Italian who had a good euros. We don't have many of the top Spanish or Italian players over here do we?

Yes I'm sure Roman Abramovich would never be involved in any type of corruption

You don't have miss the point a lot and can't see a wind up when it's staring you in the face. Mussie's ****e deserves this sort of response.

I get bored watching Spanish football, I'm not saying it isn't technically brilliant. The Premier League is far more exciting to watch and is far more competitive. There where 30 points between 2nd and 3rd last season in Spain.

IMO Ronaldo is a better all round player then Messi. Messi's goals are all very simular, where as Ronaldo scores every type of goal. Plus Barca play all out attack and Real play bit more defensive. Another of the reason's Messi is so likeable, where as Ronaldo is a twat.

Having watched every single one of Barca and Real Madrid's games this season honestly there is really no argument. Messi doesn't score many from outside of the box because he is more likely to score by taking on every man on the field and slotting in home, easier to score from 5 yards than 20, you can bang on about assists all you like but the sheer number of individual goals where he takes on about 5 players and makes up 20 or so yards is staggering. At the end of the day the aim of football is to win games by scoring goals, and arguably no one has ever been more lethal than Leo Messi.

ive not bothered to watch Ronaldo for Real , but in the Euros he was the greediest player ive seen (including 15 a-side games on Division Roads cemmy when i was a kid)

I counted he had 19 shots compared to 3 from other Portugal players in one match
