That's your opinion. Also it's based on performances, not speculated ability.

Did you watch Barca v Espanyol last night, have you watched any of his performances this season, did you see his performances in the Euro's? There's nothing speculated about it.

I've seen plenty of both him and Baines, and I choose Baines. If it's not fact, it's speculation. And it certainly isn't fact.

Can you please stop presenting your opinions as though they are facts. It's annoying.

Pique makes the World XI for 2012, he started 24 games in 2012 for Christ's sake!

Completely ridiculous World XI, but can't argue with Messi for the Ballon D'Or.

    Buffon
    Ramos, Chiellini, Hummels, Baines
    Xavi Pirlo Iniesta
    Messi, Falcao, Ronaldo

Wanted to get Van Persie in somehow but going to have to leave him out. Toyed with the idea of Bale at left back but Ronaldo doesn't defend so don't think it would be clever

Piqué is the one surprise for me. Ramos was class last season and has been above par compared to the rest of Madrid this season. Marcelo has improved significantly defensively so I agree with his choice. Would probably have gone for van persie over Falcao if I had to choose. This is voted by players all over the world not FIFA. If people can't see la liga as the clear number 1 league in the world they need to take of their tinted shades

La Liga is not the no1 league in the world, it does however have the two top teams in the world, Atl Madrid are a good side but on a par with most top half teams in the premiership but with an excellent striker. You can not say is normally much excitement in Spain with who will win the league, the result is obvious with 8 games to go. Could never vote for Ramos - dirty, nasty little **** of a player

La Liga has the best two teams in the world and as a result the best 5/6 players as well, but overall the quality of the League isn't up with the Bundesliga or the PL for me. Too much disparity in terms of quality and wealth between the top teams and the bottom. As long as 90% of the TV money goes to Barca, Real and Atletico, the league wont be truly competitive or complete for me.

It doesn't surprise me at all that a World XI consists of mostly La Liga players and rightly so, but players like Casillas, Alves, Pique and Alonso have gotten in purely on reputation which is just daft, don't think it's La Liga biased though just poorly thought-out.

Nearly as good as Suarez when he turned round after celebrating a goal to find his team mates had all disappeared.

There will be a few germans in the world squad soon. or at least players from the Bundesliga. For me that is easily the best league in the world, and it's easy to see the German national team is well on the up.

I expect to see Marko Reus in the squad within 2/3 years.

Fully agree with you. Have been watching the Bundesliga highlights on ITV4 on Monday evenings and am hugely impressed with the likes of Reus, Gotze, Schurrle etc. Bundesliga is a terrific league but Bayern are running away with it this year. However it is very close with the rest of the teams.
