According to the London Evening Standard.

They also want Jimmy, but only on loan.

Edit: All the first line was done with caps on, but, it appears there is some kind of filter on naughty words to not be in caps!!:emoticon-0112-wonde

Does not suprise me and would do a good job in the prem. You cant blame it if he goes for another shot at the big time. he does have a Grandma in London though does he. Either way he gave good service and i am happy for him :afro:

Regarding Jimmy no one will want to sign him on a perm deal due to his contrcat hes on here and his injuries. He will be our player at the start of the season, wether the Allams go back on their word and loan him out to save 25k a week we shall see but we will own his contract still.

it would be a shame to see Rosie go, but I wouldn't blame him if he took the opportunity to play in the Premier League next season. As for Jimmy as I always say if he plays I back him as a City player, as a person not so much. Would love to say to him if I ever got the chance, just do the sensible thing and take a 50% pay cut and show the fans what you can do, he could go from zero to hero in a few games

agreed. even on the wages he is currently on if he started next season in the form he is capeable of, people on here would stop bashing him. Its a fickle game. Him in top form is almost single handedly enough to take us up, he also seems pretty good for team moral WHEN he is happy.

This, if true, will be an interesting test for Nigel Pearson.

I don't want Laim to go as he was OUR best player last season. However, what with player power, if he wants to go he will go. The REALLY important thing is how much we get for him.

He is a proven Premiership player playing in the Championship therefore he should command a Premiership price. If we get less than £3m for him I would say Pearson has failed, more than £5m and he will have definitely succeeded. In between and I wiould be satisfied. Might be OK if they offer us £3m plus Bradley Orr.

Lets be realistic, quality attacking full-backs are like chickens teeth. We have one. Lets make sure his value to us is reflected in his price and we don't return to the bad old days of Michael Turner.

I think Rosie is happy with us and all the players go on about the spirit in the camp been great, he gets on well with Pearson, we gave him a chance when no one else did, with that in mind I think he will stay unless we get a great offer, Strovos idea of Orr and £3m would be a good deal.

We need to keep hold of our best players such as Rosie if we are to stand a chance of being promoted next season. However, as people have already mentioned, if Rosie wants to have another bash at the Premier League then who are we to stop him? As long as we get a good deal for him if he does go, I agree we should be looking for £3m+ for him.

Me thinks, agrees Warnock is very cheeky wanting Rosie, but he can do a better Job going up with us.
If Warnock wants to splash the Cash Take Bullard Please.
I think this Young Team of Players we are forming , have great loyalty to Nigel Pearson.
They want to play for HULL City.
They want Premier League Status. U T T

I wouldn't begrudge him a shot at the premier league, he's deserved it after his performances this season. However, he looks like he wants to play for us and probably knows that were building something here, and is maybe keen to get the feather in his cap of helping us get promoted rather than jumping ship to get there.

Can't blame Rosenior if he moved to a premier league side, as he says it's his aim to play at that level again. Interesting that it's QPR though as when Rosenior arrived at City he said he'd been training with them to keep his fitness levels up, also Warnock had offered him a contract but only as 3rd choice right back. This link could just be speculation or Warnock has realised what he missed out on.

I would be very disappointed in Liam if he forced this move. We gave him a contract when he was in the wilderness and he's become a very important player for us. I hope this is just nonsense but I guess will have attracted some attention from bigger clubs because he has been immense.

Like Strov said, if he does go it better be for a good price and for Gods sake don't let Kamikaze Mcshane back into the team.

If you were offered a job with another company doing exactly the same thing you do for your current company for 4 times the salary, would you go?

Even if you get on well with your boss and your workmates, can you imagine the grief you would get from the Mrs. if you even contemplated saying to her that you were thinking of turning the offer down?

People need to smell the coffee.

Don't forget this is not back in the 80's when players relied on a 10 year testimonial to fund the Pub they would buy for their post -career livelihood. Today we are talking about professionals, people who have total loyalty to their own wallets and kiss the badge to hoodwink the "Hard-Of-Thinking" fans.
It is what it is, if he fancies the money and the Premiership for the last real contract of his career, then good luck to him, he deserves it.

LETS JUST MAKE SURE ANTONIO GIVES UP HIS POUND OF FLESH!

as John said, its all just paper talk. you get this every transfer window. dont believe a word until there's actual quotes from managers. like the Jewell interview about Bullard.

The London Evening Standard is no Sun/Mirror and isn't your normal local rag, they don't normally put out a story like this unless they're pretty sure there's something in it. Their only other story about a transfer rumour this week is also about QPR(unsurprisingly) and says Warnock is considering offering a one year deal to Lee Bowyer.

    He's 26 for God's Sake!

I can't see him leaving tbh, I think he realises he's onto a good thing at City.

Bullard on the other hand, would be well worth keeping, if Nigel can motivate him. He's almost single handedly dragged Ipswich from a relegation battle to mid table. If we could shift his wages that would be nice, but if he plays like he can, he can fire us into the Premier League.

You don't think there would be a problem with everyone in the squad being on around £10k a week and Bullard being on £47k a week?

Just how will Bullard fire us into the Prem? Have you just woken up after a two and a half year sleep?
