its almost inevitable we'll be linked with any striker at that sort of price range and ability. i'm a big fan of byram though on the little i've seen at youth level and he's made a great impression in their first team this season. talented full back who could have a terrific career ahead of him

Have you actually seen what it's based on? Our assistant manager is specifically asked about Becchio and Byram, says he thinks they'll stay but that "if Man Utd bid £10m for Byram he'll have to go" and the media (as they do) twist things. As it is I'm going to wait and see what happens as I have no idea what our transfer policy will be like under the new owners, but that's hardly making me worried. Anyway, you've got your hooligan problem to be worried about, never mind our players.
