Beşiktaş have rekindled interest in out of favor QPR right-back Jose Bosingwa. The Istanbul club were linked with the former Chelsea fullback last season and have close ties to the Portuguese internationals agency company, Gestifute. Bosingwa would be the eighth player represented by Gestifute to join the Black Eagles should the move go ahead. The 30-year-old right-back has fallen out of favor at QPR since refusing to sit on the substitute bench against Fulham. QPR manager Harry Redknapp said, âHe didnât travel. He felt he was too good to be on the substituteâs bench. âIâve fined him two weeksâ wages, which is £130,000, which isnât bad for two weeks work is it? How do I handle a player like that? Maybe heâll find out in January.â Bosingwa has not trained or played for the Hoops since. The Portuguese international fullback joined QPR on a free transfer from Chelsea during the summer transfer window. Bosingwa has won the Champions League twice with Porto and Chelsea, the experienced fullback has also lifted the Premier League as well as the Portuguese League title. http://www.turkish-football.com/news_read.php?id=3988
They love big name players in Turkey so this sounds very plausible to me. With the agency link as well this might happen.
Last time they signed a player from us it was Sir Les, think they're in for a shock... Is it from those days your Besiktas love in come from?
More to do with the girl I was seeing for a few years lived there and her whole family were Besiktas fans I even studied Turkish for 3 years but sadly forgotten most if it now
Makes sense Love the country myself, go there every year for our holidays. And they are football crazy, always fun to discuss and play football with the locals.
