Luca Modric, the money loving mercenary voted Madrid's worst signing. It hasn't quite worked out for the former spurs dwarf after his £33m move to Real Madrid has led to only eight starts. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-manchester-city-and-united-on-alert-1519580 Lets hope that our interest in this loathsome idiot is paper talk only and we should count ourselves lucky we failed to sign the mercenary.
Madrid will probably let you have Rat-Boy for £60 million. It might be worth your while putting in a cheeky bid.
Personally didn't think he would make it at Madrid but he is a class player, would have him at United!
We don't need the Spurs cast off we can do better, I was glad we didn't get him first time around and don't want him now either
To be fair, Modric is a class player and premier league proven. Least not forget we bid 40 million for him at one point, if they want to recoup and sell him to us for the 20-25 million odd he was always worth, I wouldn't complain.
Modric is a good player the problem he has at Madrid he has the likes of Xabi Alonso, Ozil and Sami Khedira that start a head of him. Modric doesn't get enough game time there.
Yet another good enough to be a top player in the prem only to flop in La liga and be the worst signing
Best bit of sales advertising spurs ever did, getting £33m for a player who played well once every 3 games and be nowhere in the other 2,
Moutinho or Isco please RA (Nicking Spurs No.1 transfer target will be the icing on the cake after we denied them CL spot) No Modric, principally because there will no doubt be a % clause for future transfers. Therefore giving money (indirectly) to Spurs is sacrilege! Surely De Bruyne is history? Where on earth does he fit in with Marin and Moses ahead of him?
Why do you lads think that Levy was prepared to let him go, in the end? Because, he knew we could live without him, as we are more than amply proving to everyone. My only regret in all of it is that we couldn't con £40m out of Mad Dog for his services. I'd much rather he'd warm your bench than Madrid's. Trust me on this.
