You get talent like that signed up while you can. Keeping him on loan longer would only increase the price which we would have to pay for him, and let other clubs become involved. I think that some people are still cautious because they didn't rate him last year (when he was flitting in and out of the team at RW/LW), personally, I always liked him - but he certainly is far better this year in a position he is clearly much more suited to. I don't think that good, young wing backs come along too easily or often, and will make a brilliant signing if we can get him. I know most of the Man Utd fans who watch reserve/youth games are really sad to see him go, I can certainly see him at a top 10 Premier League club in the next few years (hopefully that will be us ).
Sky Sports reporting Brady undergoing his medical. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8384434/
Just been scouting the net. Everton seemed to think they were in for him last month; http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/51671-Robbie-Brady I wonder if it was true, and if so, what happened. Is this why we're having to splash the cash on him?
I wonder if that is why we're having to stump up the cash. Someone else was obviously keen, or else we would have just extended his loan for the season, surely?
Im not saying he wont sign, but there are countless incidents of clubs coming in with counter offers during a player's medical and he leaps off the physio's bench and off to pastures new. It might be that he does sign, but dont ever count your chickens before they are hatched. The point made was it's irrelevant if Moyes was interested but I can guarantee if he was and had a bid accepted young Robbie would defo speak to them whether hes udnergoing a medical with us or not.
