I agree with you here to be honest. Although I have very good reason to believe we paid nothing like £2.6m it's hardly out of order to quote our OWS. Banning him would be a bit pathetic.
Nobody's going to get banned for quoting our website ffs, only for cluttering the place up with mountains of **** on loads of threads and getting on everyone's nerves, something he's always accusing me of doing and for which he banned me last week(hence my sarcastic comment).
In my eyes there's a big leap from someone being annoying to being banned. And why sink to his level? Be the bigger (OL) Man.
The whole 'discussion' on how much you have paid for Prozzie has become rather tedious and actually is irrelevant to whether the guy will cut it as this level or above... further, you can get a player for peanuts or on a free then end up paying him a fortune in wages and add-ons ... Bosingwa at QPR is a prime example and the contract offers we made to the likes of Mills, Beckford and Danns were, in hindsight, rather embarrassing in that they helped fuel egos that already exceeded ability. We are also on dodgy ground from a historical view in such debates in that, as a club, we paid £5 million for Ade Akinbiyi - a fact that I console myself with in that I must surely have been worth a fifth of that in my own more humble playing days at a much lower level (I jest of course ... but hang on). Looking at it as I do in terms of Jamie Vardy at our club, I believe it is far too early to judge players who have had such a short time playing in this league in relative terms.
Now we all know there's one of our own that'd get banned for that before AKCJ. It general it would help if people were reading content rather than usernames as well. I had a PM from one person complaining about him posting on every thread about nothing to do with Leicester. When I looked, on the whole of the top page he'd posted on about 7 or 8 threads, and most of them were threads where we were already talking about Leicester for one reason or another (eg Wood, them attempting to hijack the Meyler deal, that gay "you're **** aaah" chant thing), and a couple of the others were general football threads.
