Following on from other thread, for me there's been a lot of them but it has to be Taibi, harsh i know considering he only played 4 games for us, i remember his debut for us against Liverpool and he was quality, but it went down hill from there, i remember watching when the floodlights fade and he said, the reason why he left us was because he had personal issues in italy, i think he was homesick.

Bebe, most of his other bad signings have had potential or success elsewhere, it just didn't work out at United, Bebe however was just a poor signing all round, especially for £7 million.

True, and Fergie himself did say he hadn't been watching prior to us signing him.

You Bastard, you got there first.

Bebe, all day every day. A waste of every second ever spent at United.

Kleberson was disappoint. I actually thought he was something after the WC 2002.

If Veron is listed as an option - Berbatov should be listed as one as well IMO!

not really, Berbatov wasn't bad for us as many people think he was. He did play a big part in winning the 19th league and also he did score some vital goals in his first season at united when we won the league

has to be Taibi, all the other players with the exception of some of the young youth talents did at least something of note. But Taibi i just think of the 5-0 loss at Chelsea or the shot that crept through him against Southampton and i cant help but cringe, then again he was injury cover (so some blame must lie in buying Bosnich).

Some players were overpriced for what they managed to achieve, e.g. Veron.

I do feel obliged to stick up for Barthez though, not as good as Schmeichel, but compared to the other keepers signed before, after him: Taibi, Ricardo, Carroll, Bosnich. Not to mention the odd moments he did a few skillful numbers on other teams stikers e.g. Carew for Valencia.

Likewsise Foster wasnt that bad considering he cost very little and is still a decent prem goalie these days, just a few too many clangers and lack of comand in the box
