I don't care. As Christian said its sad a non league team don't get a dream day out at anfield where the money would be a boost for them.
Exactly, he spoiled it for their fans as well, they could've had an extra couple of grand if he hadn't of handle the ball.
but the world would not care because its not a a Man United player. If a united player done that, we wouldn't hear the end off it and the scouse idiots would be on our board with words like " cheaters" but when their player's do it they defend it, seriously, Liverpool fans are piece of c(u)nts. deluded fans they got.
So the Liverpool fans are now putting their faith into the opinions of a man they have loathed for 20 years. Genius.
What are your thoughts on Man Utd not playing a full strength team against West Ham at Old Trafford which enabled West Ham to win and sent Sheffield United down?? Did you agree with Alex Ferguson's decision to rest a few key players for that game because you had a final in a week or were you outraged that you had "spoiled" everything for Sheffield United's fans?? The thinking behind both is the same.
I can seperate Gary Neville the pundit from Gary Neville the player. And I was just pointing out that one of your club legends thinks that its alright to attempt to gain an advantage in anyway possible.
If you can explain, in your own words, how the two are even on the same planet as far as being remotely similar then it might be worth discussion. Do go ahead.
and next week when you see a team gain an unfair advantage, as you consider it, in a game either involving Liverpool or a team you perceive to be a rival of Liverpool's you will be playing the victim again. that's why no one takes some Liverpool fans seriously. you are forever whining! EDIT: it should be noted for those who are too furious to actually read what I wrote...I haven't said Suarez did anything particularly unusual today but I do find the Liverpool fans' latest defense of their odious hero to be both funny and ironic.
NOF, re your edit. Me too, looked an accident to me. Us not playing a full strength side v west ham is a particularly wierd and, frankly, pathetic little comparison to come up with.
Man Utd not fielding their full strength team enabled West Ham to beat them and sent Sheffield Utd down in the process. Therefore "spoiling" it for the Sheffield utd fans and denying them the chance to see their team in the premiership for another season. No different to Suarez denying Mansfield fans the chance to go to Anfield, is it, really? Man Utd look out for themselves by resting players for the final, as there was nothing riding on the league game for them. Suarez was also looking out for his own team by not admitting to the handball so that we'd get a 2-0 lead and much less chance of Mansfield forcing us into a replay. Understood?
What utter ****ing ****. Sheffield United were relegated because they were not good enough over the course of a 38 game season. It's not our job to beat opponents for them, as even most ****ing halfwits would know. You being the exception clearly. The only one spoiling it for Sheffield United fans was their **** team and their **** manager. EDIT. Go back and have a read of what you wrote and realise what a bell end it makes you look.
And if one of your players wins a penalty by diving Man Utd fans will justify it by saying Suarez or Gerrard did X, Y or Z versus TEAM A, B or C. But if one of our players won a penalty by diving Man Utd fans will act outraged and call for people to be banned retrospectively for diving. And it will be the same with Liverpool fans. Welcome to football.
So by the same logic Mansfield lost because they were not good enough to score as many goals as Liverpool over a 90 minute period. I'm glad you agree with me
