Our midfield maestro wins every battle apart from the red card, i think in a year or two's time, he;s going to best the best midfielder in europe.

Looks pretty good for Tom, particularly the pass completion. Tho' the stats rarely tell the full story, they do show you how close the two players are and the tendency of Arsenal fans to once again massively overrate their players, right up until they demand a move...

Jack is a quality player, very promising future imo but so does Cleverley. "Neutrals" do love to underate our players doesn't bother me at all though the results keep coming.

I'm surprised Wilshere hasn't picked up more cards that that to be honest, he likes to throw a boot in when things aren't going his way.

both are different type of players tbh .. while Jack is more skillful & creative looking for killer passes.. Cleverly has a great first touch passer of ball to keep the ball moving, work harder and can defend and shoot better than Jack

Cleverly for me although I would like to see Hodgson play them together in midfield, I believe it would improve the National team in terms of quality at possession and fast paced football.

Cleverly needs more goals, and that will come but his partnership with Anderson and Carrick is our best choice in midfield IMHO.

Question, who is your first choice CM so far this season? The one person you put in the midfield first, Carrick or Cleverly?

Carrick for a reinforced defensive unit but for me it's both of them and spice it up with Scholes/Giggs/Anderson.

Cleverly passes well but the MUFC way is not passing sideways but forwards creating openings. Which is why I am glad Scholes is around this last season to show Cleverly and Anderson how it is meant to be done, the MUFC way.
