Why as a thread about CHRIS WOOD turned into a which team wasted money on other players. From what seen of Woods he is a great signing. Well done Pearson, the owners nd Walsh for finding nd signing him
Wood wasnt really found. He was banging them in for Millwall I think he will be a top signing though. Him and Nugent with Waggy backing them up should be enough to score goals
Why as a thread about CHRIS WOOD turned into a which team wasted money on other players. Welcome to the Leicester forum - don't talk about football much, just argues who's dad/penis is bigger!
Hello to all those gorgeous ladies out there...especially those in hull why not give me a call? you know it makes sense...
You're way off the mark. The deal is for an itial £1.25m raising upto £2m depending on promotion and goals scored. NP won't pay more than £15k per week! And this is why he wants young hungry players in the club. Your chairman stated in an interview he matched Leicesters wages and WBA asking price, but the player jumped at. The chance to join us.
What was your point? That he hasn't scored against a top six side so far? Yes you appear to be correct, that is a fact that can't be argued. Does it mean he'll never score against a top side? No. Do I really care what you think? No. Am I happy with his start to his Leicester career, even if we have happened to play lower teams than us? Hellllll yes!!
It appears the only reason to mention this fact is to talk our player down....we would never do that to one of yours
Yeh, we've been wishing Prossie all the best and willing him to score every week, it's taken a while but got there in the end
Yes, you stated a fact and I have agreed, congratulations Now read the rest of my post... Does you pointing this out worry me? Not one bit... Does it mean he'll never score against a top six side? No it doesn't... Fact is, we're happy with our new signing, no need to try and put him down because you failed to sign him, and are yet to sign a new striker of your own yet...
I never said you should be worried, nor did I say he'll never score against a top 6 side. Proud told someone it was a stupid point, I was just pointing out that it was an accurate point as he hasn't scored against a good/top side.
He's scored against Brighton who OLM said are nailed on for a play-off spot. If you don't think Brighton are a good side, you better take it up with OLM.
Did you hear the comments on Prozzie on the FA Cup show last night? Even they were taking the piss out of Prozzie. They said something like "Proschwitz, who cost Hull £2.6...MILLION, finally began to pay off some of that figure with a goal... against Leyton Orient." By contrast, they said of Chris Wood "It takes time for some players to settle down at a new club. Not Chris Wood, he scored his third goal in two games against Burton."
I disagree with OLM on the majority of things. Brighton aren't a top side. I like the way you tried to make the scoring against Leyton Orient bit embarrassing for us with the ellipsis but made no similar effort when saying Wood scored against Burton, who are probably about 20 places below Orient in the football league. Misfiring Proschwitz yet we're still second. God we must be good.
