I agree completely it was accidental but because it was accidental doesn't mean the goal should have stood. Regardless of whether it was deliberate the ball was controlled with his hand, therefore handball.

It was still an accident though and it looked to me like he booted it into the net resigned to the fact the ref would blow.

Yet another referee balls up, and here was me thinking only United ever benefitted from those.
