    Cameron Stewart for £300,000.

NP has his favourites. A bargain for you and we'd be happy to be shot of him now: he's going nowhere with us but maybe NP can work his magic on him and make Cameron a decent player again?

Pearson really knows how to get the best out of these kind of wingers, see Dyer and Gradel, but don't think its the kind of signing we need atm, especially if the trotter rumor is true, our midfield is already full to bursting.

    ^he sold gradel?

Quote from Bruce: "Cameron Stewart is in no condition to be a footballer. He's overweight and heavy"

He still got the best out of Gradel, seeming he was a big part of our League 1 success, i along with many was surprised to see him go.

Stewart is a **** version of Dyer but with a few step overs

But maybe Nigel thinks he can get the best out of him. He would be a bad impact sub with his pace

Pearson got fed up with Gradel and got rid. Most of Nigels players are easily managed players. The first player that he really has to manage has been Knockaert

He got rid of people like Gradel, Campbell, Beckford and Danns. All players who needed alot of managing

Stewart hasn't played well since Hull blocked his move. Perhaps he's just lost interest in playing for Hull, but will prosper elsewhere.

Stewart is about as fat as an anorexic ant.

He couldn't get in our team, he couldn't get into Burnley's team, I really hope he gets into yours. <laugh>

Well he's not going to get in ahead of Marshall or Knockaert but Dyer has gone off the boil recently.

Trouble with Dyer is he is either brilliant or ****e. You can never tell which.

As for him not getting into your team, he's not a wing back.

Burnley don't play with wing backs and he couldn't get in their team either.

If he continues to play like he did yesterday, you'd be better off signing my mother. <laugh>

Nige can get the best out of him (still think 1.5m is a joke of an offer?) and if he doesn't it's only 300k.

Hardly the biggest punt in the world. Only Hull have something to lose here.

We'd be getting a refund, the only thing we'd lose is a crap player.

I still can't believe you're in for him, he's been truly appalling for the past year.

But you and I both know his potential.

A 21 year old who has been known to tear teams apart for 300k. What's the worst we could get?

And no, you've lost out on 1.5m. If he was crap then you'd have ripped our hands off for that.

Not strictly true. If you pay £300k for him and give him a £4/5k a week, 3/4 year contract and he's absolutely gash, we'll have made £300k, had a small amount taken off the wage bill whilst you would've lost around £1 million. As well as perhaps stopping Nige from going for a different target.

For the record, I still maintain flogging Stewart when you made the bid would've been a terrible decision.

To be fair the 'ripping teams apart' thing, probably had happened on 3, possibly 4 occasions in his 30-40 odd games for us, and one of them was against you.

I'd probably be happy i we got £300k for him now. If he can't get on the bench for Burnley, £300k seems generous.

Should he be absolute gash then we'll flog him to a lower Championship club/High League one.

I doubt he'd be gash though, Nigel Pearson will know how to get much more out of him than what Bruce has done.
