I saw some rumours about him leaving a few weeks back but I don't see us as a likely destination. I think he's a great defender but like when we were linked with Richards I wouldn't want him because we already have a first choice that I believe are better and I want Caulker to progress but getting as many chances as he can. If Lescott was happy to be 4th choice then that'd be great but I can't see it and he'd be a very expensive 4th choice.
I read quotes from Lescott yesterday on SSN that said he's not leaving so I don't know how true the twitter rumours are (hopefully not true at all) I've never forgiven Lescott for his assault on Kaboul so I don't want him at the club!

Guillem Balague who is very reliable just said on Spanish football that David Villa isn't going anywhere this transfer window. Not that I ever thought he would come to us but other clubs like Arsenal were hoping they would get him.
