I could easily see him breaking Tamblings record before the season is out. I at least want him to get to 200, he deserves that. Keep the FA Cup run going then more than possible.
Beautifully taken pen as always, though a dodgy decision. Congratulations to Frank, wonder why he never got a run as striker ??????
Most his career CP he served with Drogs and Anelka who he couldn't have replaced, so he made his name as an attacking mid-fielder who took penalties! I dont thik it could have worked for him any other way!
Yes, it was nice to watch Lampard score his penalty today, to equal the record. The fans were singing "sign him up! sign him up!" when he came on, in the second half.
According to papers this morning (reliablilty factor not included), Roman is expected to do a u-turn and give Frank a new contract Hopefully this is true and I read not more than three days ago that Frank was offering to drop nearly 100k off his wages to stay, probably unlikely but a 3 year contract on 50-60k a week has got to be good business all round Bobby Tambling, Super Frank is coming for you!!!!!!
I certainly believe that CFC can still get good value from Lampard, what with his experience and his popularity around the Bridge. A two-year contract, with a reduced weekly wage, would seem appropriate. It's clear that the hardcore Chelsea fans love him, and I think Mad Dog will want to give them something, after bitch-slapping them with the appointment of Coco.
Actually, that was watching Saints v CFC. What were you doing? Sitting on a spunk-stained old armchair with a box of Kleenex, in all probability. Am I right, Ozzie?
I don't have the time to go to many away games but did see the boys notch up a north London double. No doubt you only went because it was under £30 so no surprise there then Herbert. Watching the European champions demolish a poor Soton side doesn't redeem you from being the ragbag twat you are.
HIAG/King Os--Please , let me remind you of Harry Hills words of wisdom-"I was bullied at school, called all kinds of names, but one day I turned to my bullies and said, sticks and stones may break my bones , but names will never hurt me!From then on , its been sticks and stones all the way!"
CP -Spot on , in Chelsea's history at least! As far as attacking midfielders go there would be a challenge of who's the greatest from supporters of Scholes and Gerrard, but I wouldn't have taken either of them over Lamps!
