I think the fact he played today is a huge statement from Swansea, he and Michu played a part of the game together!
McNally has just 'categorically denied' any truth in it - but that in itself means nothing. I just pass on the goss, for the benefit of any on here who don't use twitter.
This latest tweet (or twit?) is probably the mooses story from the other day regurgitated I think (about hooper)
I think it's time to forget about Danny Graham personally... He's in the shop window because he's not happy playing second fiddle to Michu. I doubt he's going to be excited about being back up to Holt either which is likely how it would work with our current formation. Odds for Danny Graham’s future. Sunderland are 1/2 on to sign him this month, the clear favourites ahead of Aston Villa (6/1) and Newcastle (8/1). Norwich are out at 12/1.
If people used half a cell of there brain on twitter asking these stupid questions or posting these tweets they would notice he is half way round the world in dubai, so he wont be having a medical tomorrow or to be honest anytime for Norwich City We will end up with another budget basement signing unfortunately, this is the window where we need to ditch those signings and raise the bar a bit! I will be very very dissapointed if we sign Glenn Murray, no improvement what so ever maybe going backwards and that would be good money wasted in my eyes. CMS would be an OK signing but will he carry that goal threat that by all acounts CH wants, he is starting be quite strong in how he's wording what he wants! "we need to score goals" is his words, and the 2 above will not do that enough in this league, we need to splash biggish cash for that and i really don't think the club are prepared for that.
Just seen from Archant Towers that McLeish wants Ward back at Forest on loan, wwith a view to a permanent deal. Graham to Sunderland seems to be 'gathering pace' as well. Only just over 3 weeks to go and then we can get back to concentrating on football.
you're right JR, and silly season is only just warming up now - wait until deadline day! ward to forest, good that they want him back i guess. half of the premier league seems to be interested in DG - as for sunderland, i don't understand why they don't give C wick more of a chance. he's looked OK when he's played this season. on viewing the pink un MB, someone has posted we have bid for Charlie Austin today
Wickham is currently on fire banging in one in his last one, that's world class that is - sign him up Hootun
I'm a frequent visitor to a Sunderland site and virtually everyone of them is up in arms at MON not starting with Cwick and Fletcher, they all think it could be a dream pairing!
Yes he was Max, but he has made a difference every time he's come on as a sub! Most of the fans are spitting feathers!
i concur dave, i was pointing out that MON might not rate him as much as he didn't buy him. he was a nuisance aganist us, he definitely deserves more match time. i would like us to get Danny Graham not Sunderland, Newcastle or Reading.
Another name to throw into the pot, Reading fans (on twitter) seem to think we're after Alex Pearce, who is yet to sign a new contract with them, so will be a free agent in the summer. Unfortunately the reason he won't sign is rumoured to be wage-related, so I doubt we'll be in a much better position. WBA are the other team rumoured to be interested. Also: Pink'un are running that Di Canio may use his own money to keep Chris Martin at Swindon, as the club have no funds available. That seems pretty unlikely. And: More twitter rumours that Lambert has bid £2m for Morison.
Alex pearce is a decent centre back; seems odd as we are ok in that department. chris martin must have improved then, the last i read mad paulo was slating him.
Apparently we bid £6m. No way in hell is that true. With the Alex Pearce thing, not someone I know a lot about, but Elliott Ward looks set to move on, and maybe we'd bring in Pearce and sell Barnett?
