I feel it's worth mentioning that the Mansfield bench contains no goalkeeper and four strikers. We can say with some degree of confidence that they have attacking players to bring on & go for it if they are still in the game in the second half and beyond.

Up until the team sheet was out i would have thought i'm wrong, but look, he din't make it to the bloody squad against 'mansfield'. I don't know what 'half arsed attitude' you talking of ,to me he just looked like some still trying to get to grips of the PL. He needs to be given him some time. BR has on occasions showed his Stubborness and ego, for instance like playing downing on LB against spurs and even while he was clearly terrible in that game, he just kept playing him throughout the game, im quite sure it's that interview that got him on hot water. When was the last time he even played, to not even make it to the squad today, Is shame really. Oh and the attitude you talking of, you must have come to conclusions on the barely 7 games he featured. This is talent properly ruined. I feel terribly sorry for the lad

Who do we want? Another lower league club at Anfield? Or Chelsea/United/City at home to try and get them out early?
If we can get past Mansfield, we will travel to Oldham Athletic. Played them at Anfield in the F.A Cup last season. Won 5-1 that day.
