Swansea, Villa and QPR are all showing interest in Kenwyn Jones. Be nice if we could get some of our money back if we could find a better replacement!
Well he's upped his profile at the perfect time for a move, if he was as active normally as he has been in the last month we would be up around Everton and singing his praises.
Glad he has hit form, but I'm really worried (more so than ever) in relation to our forwards. Crouch has lost form, the Owen situation rumbles on and we all know TP doesnt fancy Jerome that much (ooh er missus), that leaves Walters who with the best will in the world isnt going to score goals regularily even though he plays every minute of every game. The press coments after the game yesterday were talking about how inaffective Owen was (and hence discussing that he was a bad signing) but it highlighted that even if the ex international partnership (16 starts for England returning 16 goals) of Crouch/Owen played most games the lack of service and creativity would end in a poor goal return. It sort of question the reasons why these players choose to play here and aren't considering playing elsewhere. For me there lies one of the biggest issues for Stoke and I wont be suprised to end up with a negative goal difference and one of the lagues lowest scorers come the end of the campaign.
[h=1]Stoke's £15million valuiation of Asmir Begovic means he won't be joining Manchester United this month. Stoke striker Kenwyne Jones is wanted by Swansea. Stoke have rubbished reports Michael Owen is heading for Australia.[/h]

Just been reading that Delap may be rejoining his old club Carlisle United as he wants to be playing first team football.

I heard that Martin Olsson is currently undergoing a medical at the Britannia Stadium. Also TP is launching bids for Gary Hooper and Charlie Mulgrew. With the possibility of De Gea leaving maybe a straight swap could be necessary if they do decide to take Begovic. (as Begovic is valued at 15 million and De Gea is valued at 12 million)

Stokie 97 WELCOME to the Stoke board Well, this must be happening, you posted it twice.. With regards to Charlie Mulgrew SMITHER'S I could'nt open that link mate? said (definate) and I've looked all over for anything on this rumour/report. Olsen would be a good aquisition IMO and it's seem's we've been looking at him for ages. Can we have De Gea IF Begovic does leave AND one of the two brothers who play full back for Utd.. name/s I can't think of but they both look very good. Or, swap Rooney for Jones. I'm thinking outside the box!!
