Ok, you need to wear a watch on each wrist - one for each time zone.

When you came through Airport Customs, you were arrested for having 200lbs of 'crack' in your underwear.

If someone claims that fairies live at the bottom of their garden, the onus is not on other people to prove they're talking bollocks.

And if someone wants to believe that fairies do live at the bottom of their garden there is no onus on them to prove anything to anyone, it's called "Faith".

Why is it that the Anti religious types seem far more ready to argue about the non existence of God than religious people are to argue the toss over whether there is a God?

I don't really believe in God but I am willing to accept that I may be wrong, especially if it means I get to go to heaven.

Agreed, whatever helps people get through their own life.

So what if people have faith - as long as they don't try and ram it down your throat (like many athiests do) then each to their own.

And some people will not like that and will happily spend days trying to show you how superior an intellect they have because they don't.

You have to wonder why. Well not really.

It really is a pointless argument, as it can't be proven either way.

For the same reason that people down the centuries have spent time dispelling other myths such as dragons, centaurs, mermaids etc. It's called science.
