Im sorry mate but ive never read rubbish like this in my life, so he signed someone who is nowhere near fitness (Palacious) and is on £45,000 a week?,hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I think I will blame TP if you dont mind
Because no other managers have ever made a duff signing? We don't know what goes on behind the scenes, so won't ever have a full grasp of the situation, but from what I've heard, it sounds like Palacios isn't bothered about keeping himself fit. This attitude would get you sacked in any other job, but players have way too much protection! Pulis should probably shoulder some of the blame, he should be able to motivate ALL our players, but if what I've said above is true, how much can a manager realistically do? I am disappointed about Arismendi though, maybe he just isn't up to it, but from what I've seen of him, I thought he could have been very good, if given the chance to develop.
Should have a clause in contracts so you can get your dosh back if you get a dodgy signing, bit like returning a knackered car!!
I agree that the players have a right to upheld thier side of the contract and being willing and fit forms a huge part of that, so yeh its dissapointing/frustrating when this happens. I think your spot on Sandor that we dont know what happens behind the scenes and I'll guess we will never know, but we also know that the "Stoke Fit" status is one based on manager preference and not ability or actual fitness. Its also a responsibility of anty manager in any walk of life to motivate and maximise their employees potential to add value to the business.
Well Smithers, We defo have one of those anty managers, Pulis is anti skill, anti flair and anti flowing football.
