2 good goals. Wood's was a very good chest control before flicking it past the keeper and de Laet's was down to excellent hold up play from Wood. He must have had about 5 men trying to tackle him
I thought that. They both played alright, but both of their strengths are having the ball fed to them. Not feeding the other striker. They won't be starting games together any time soon again though.
Wood linked up pretty nicely with Nugent last week Im surprised Futacs started over Waghorn. I think Waggy must still be feeling the effects of having his appendix (?) removed so he probably dont have enough energy the play the full 90
Why would none of them get in the middle for crosses, both always pulled back... did anyone else notice this?!!?
On another note I thought Matty James played very well. Maybe we dont need that defensive midfielder after all. Just get Wellens fit as back up and use him as a sub to close out games
