Last season with CS I thought his lack of form was down to fatigue, due to Barmby not daring to drop him when Leicester came sniffing, But tbh other than pace, and constant stepovers he has very little in the line of end product. If he can get out on loan to a lower level Championship club or a L1 club and get a few games then maybe he will show something. But other than that I cant see him being a city player come start of next season.
not a wing back or straight winger, his best form by far was when he first joined us and played as a striker in a front 2, since then hes played out wide on the wing where his form has dipped, why doesnt anyone try him as a straight striker doh !
Not to mention being a supposed professional footballer. Glad Bruce is telling it how it is, if CS doesn't like it, maybe he's chosen the wrong profession or needs to set his sights a lot lower than this division.
Bruce deliberately blanked him as he came off No great surprise he was absolutely shocking, I doubt we'll see him again. Ditto McKenna.
I had heard CS was looking for a career change, he is to be a Forester; literally I believe. It's a novel idea, as he needs to turn over a new leaf, begin another chapter of his life. There's nothing binding him to football, he is without reference in the world of football skills and fails to navigate his way through even the least ship-shape of defences. He may blow his own horn, but SB ain't going to blow it for him! Ship him out at the first port of call. Wonderful stuff this Glayva!
to be honest, i ve had a ACL operation, albeit 20 odd years ago in the early stages. recovery can be hit and miss. i wonder if the confidence in his knee is shot! I also think he has been spoiled by Nigel Pearson and Nick barmby, Life is a bitch and i guess he needs to learn so
He's completely over the injury. His issues are all in his head, his body language is ****ing terrible and his head is in completely the wrong place.
VERY HARSH. Yes they were poor and Yes they can do much much better. No surprise. CS was pathetic. Bruce did right to do what he did and said. Its all in the head with Stewart. He really does need to get his act together or he will be a non league player soon. It all upto Stewart. Lets see how he does after a week or so back here and then in the Orient replay.
I think you are right, but he has to also understand the owners & Manager should be more pissed off with him as he is taking his salary every month. As SB said no point is sending him out on loan against in his current physical state, as no one will want to take him.
Not at all. SB seams relaxed about it all. Just some fans who are panicking over things. Dont panic and keep calm. Oh i think this week he will go through the mill so to speak. He only has himself to blame. Yes there is. Just make him do extra work in training for a start. The Parkin diet has obviously not helped Stewart of late. Until tuesday week. McKenna more so. The lack of game time would not help but he was nowhere near as bad as Stewart. Agreed. Get a shrink into Cottingham. Or better still a hipnotist.
